I am a digital KJ ( completely computerized) with a cdg player for customer discs.

I am looking for a program that will be able to show PICTURES / advertisements / videos / announcements  / on the monitors in between singers or on dance breaks etc.  I would like the program to be able to "go on the fly" meaning I can free type something and have it shown on the monitors either as a still or scrolling effect.
I am looking to add as just something different and give singers and non singers in the bar something to look at (when lyrics are not displayed).

Anyone SEEN or USE anything like this ?  Suggestions ? - (something not to complicated) ... afterall I have to run a Karaoke Show first and foremost ! :D

Sacks-O-Nuts did that but you can't get it anymore.  I'm pretty sure that some of the better hosters have that feature.  Have you checked all the feature lists?  autOKdj, Roxbox, MTU, Compuhost....

clubdjpro has the dual player, and a third queue to just be able to doubleclick and go for it as needed. I love the whole dual player aspect. Kudus to Tig for showing it to me. It's basically like other dual player systems I've seen, but with far less of the bullsh*t. For ME, I liked the non-Hoster type of environment. I just wanted to be able to go from file to file, fade in and out, with a gorgeous screen adjustment...

This program did that and more! LOVE it!

THe demo is FULLY playable and all features work. You have to deal with an annoying pop up every few mins , and the program will auto shut off after twenty minutes! So using the demo would be very unwise in a pro setting. But it's very adequate to test it out and see how it works.

There are a number of ways to accomplish this.

I run music videos in between and also DJ with music vids.

I run WinAmp, and if you set up your screen to extend desktop, you can run karaoke, videos and whatever on the extended screen. You need to make this your TV out screen. If you understand this, and have your system set-up to do this, then the rest is easy.

I used to run a slide show desktop background program on my extended desktop. I don't recall the name of the software, it was freeware tho, I'll look and see if I can find the name if your interested. This would let you set up a series of screens to run between songs. You could do announcements and have your logo there, etc.

I now just have my logo on the extended desktop background. Then there is always something on the screen between songs. Then you can plug in anything you want between singers, just music, videos or nothing.

That is real easy to set up.
