I think the "Email" feature in your post box enables members to relay an email to you assuming you set your profile up as such, Otherwise you'd be set up as MY post box is WITHOUT the ability to send email.

you can "email" ANYONE on here who has the email button showing. You have to place your own email addy and name in it.

But..... to send a thread to someone? Click down below this thread to the "tell a friend" little envelope thingee..... you have to PUT their email addy in.

The person involved would not HAVE my email addy, couldn't get it unless they emailed me from here via my email link and I emailed them back.  This I know for sure.

So.... they would have had to of clicked my email button, then copied and pasted the thread into it...... why?

That's what is bugging me.

Charmin,  nothing to worry about.  He's new, likely cool and made a mistake pressing a wrong button that reveals nothing but auto-relays an email to you. All he see's is that you have an Email button, and that might've been posted in confusion.

If I find out it's one of me.  I'll sit this individual down and explain how this site works.

If you saw my email address he might have yours assuming you respond.  If you don't see mine, I didn't see yours...We used KS relay-mail I believe.

It only blocks out the person's email that you're sending to. I guess, in case we get unwanted emails we can ignore them and the people do not have our addy.

But if you click someone's email link, yeah, you're giving yours out.

I have no standing or moving violations either.   My insurance is under 300 a year because I only seldom need the car to drive to work HQ's, so I've declared it a leisure vehicle and have the safest driving policy an individual can have.  Heck,  90 year old ladies flip me off for driving so slowly !

My dad got a TICKET for driving too slowly on a highway once..... they said he was causing an "obstruction".

Needless to say, I do the driving when we go places together. While dad...... keeps one hand on the door handle, and the other holding the dashboard.  LMAO

And my dad's not old.... he gets around like a 30 year old. He's just an overly cautious driver.

But seriously, I have no tickets. I seem to have a knack for getting out of them.  :dontknow:
