Figured I need to keep in shape,  so I joined a local taverns baseball team.  I have to admit though,  I felt somewhat embarrassed when I went to target and found out my spongebab glove didn't arrive in blue background.  Only Yellow,  It's not a very masculine color :(      I'll never get lucky with any of the women watching me play with this shade of yellow spongebob glove.  I specifically ordered that powder blue backing with the white facial features, and the magenta trim.

I'm just checking out what's being sold in the baseball glove market these days, and for what prices.. Took my Rawlings gloves out've storage earlier and need to find somebody even half my age that doesn't just want to sit in front of TV all day. People are so friggin lazy..  Was just curious to see what good gloves are selling, for.. Crazy thing is about half of what some of these newer trampoline type bats are selling for.

Be careful what bats you buy. Some leagues don't allow end loaded or wood.
If your serious about a glove (gee look who I'm talking to  LMAO ) make sure you try it on. Don't just buy it on the internet. Don't forget you'll have to break in before you use it at your 1st practice.  :D

You probably know all that. I just wanted to help if I could.

Babs,  I have a few gloves.  I'm just hoping my depth perception hasn't deteriorated to the point that a ball I think is heading into my glove ends up knocking my teeth out.   At this point,  Just looking for folks who want to throw a ball,  I had a great time throwing a football around this past weekend and that was easy however quite honestly given my eyesight these days throwing a baseball will be taken slowly...  I have pretty small hands so have always used smaller infielder gloves..  I've never had the greatest hand/eye coordination when it comes to balls over my head...sounds funny I know, but serving in tennis has always been weak area for me, volleyball when I connected I had a pwerful serve but spacial relationships just fall apart above my head...Bad cooredination or depth perception

Okay Kappy I read in the discussion room you wanted to meet here to fix the font problem.

It is just hard to see ! I don't care how old we are. It is barely visible!!!

Do I need to get special forum glasses and no one told me about them? It is almost like a secret code. I found hitting the preview button I can at least see my grammer mistakes.  LMAO

Yeah, me too. I highlight my text and read over it before I submit;)

It came about shortly after my 39th b-day (and my THIRD forum birthday... check out my new #3 star).... and I thought "OH NO.... Now my eyesight is gonna go since I'm nearing 40!!!"

Then I realized you all are having that prob too...... >whew<

KAPPY:

That little yellow mit with the tongue in the middle looks discustingly like something a dirty ol' man would use to help his imaginings. (NOT for b-ball)  LMAO

Phill knows about this problem, and my guess is he's not having the easiest time connecting with the designer.  Who knows,  this happened during the holiday weekend and people take vacations so perhaps Phill is having a tough time getting the coding for a change, or contacting somebody via somebody else, or maybe Phill is REALLY busy now or scheduled a vacation...  I'm sure he'll take care of this ASAP.

I think my computer has a virus.  Either that or there's some new Windows Language.

Has anyone else been getting pop up messages that read

"Better you should run Scandisk, Oy !"

"You want I should Defrag for you?"

"Such a Deal for software you must'nt refuse!"

"Reboot system to install this software, and eat something, you are too skinny"

America Online sign off message is:

"Better you should live and be well"

I hope I don't need to reformat my C: Drive.   I've run all sorts of Spyware programs, and Virus diagnostic software, and it appears this has gotten into my
registry.  It really sucks too...  I was running a trouble-shooting program, and it says

"Call Tech support, and your mother.  She won't be around for ever!"

ON Sh.T !

That blue screen of death has a fatal execution message that's asking where the chicken soup is  :(    Last message asked why I was typing on the Sabbath !

:(

(I seriously hope this is a problem with my configuration,  It'd be damn scary if this is what happens when a guy "Finds God" !!!)
