Jerry,  have you recently rolled one of those buggies ?   I'd be scared of rolling over something like that.

As you mentioned Jerry,  I'd think based on the type of riding people do on those it'd be easy to roll one.

I did roll once, but it was some moron on a quad that turned in front of me, and I dodged to miss him..

Slow roll down a "Razorback" dune.. Broke a $120.00 flag.. five aboard, all ok..

Steven...

Personally, I think it's next to impossible to roll one. I've SEEN them roll, but.... I was a bit nervous about riding with people in them at first.... until I got my own . I had driven my hubby's boss' rail one weekend, then went home and said "hon, I want one!!" , so he built one... then sold it.... then built two more. You can get wicked sideways on bowls, and all kinds of stuff and stay grounded. They're so long and low that they are actually pretty stable. (atleast.... the ones WE drive... different frame than what he uses- my hubby always buys a Fugitive frame, maybe jd is familiar with that kind?) Fun as hell too. As long as you're not an "idiot" (like my hubby is on the sand LOL )... you can have a lot of fun, even racing, and be fine. It's kind of a rush, really. There's nothing like riding one down the edge of the beach, with wet sand flying and salt water spraying ya in the face. (nothing like getting the sand out of your ears, eyes, nose, bra, and underwear either.... haha)

Bikes..... another story. Coos Bay & Florence, Oregon have some pretty wild sand dunes.

Okay, I'm done butting in to your conversation now. (sorry)

You aren't "Butting in" at all Charmin.   I haven't a clue about ANY of this.  Just seen a few short movies. We Northeastern yankees don't know about this stuff.  You folks with hands on experience have knowledge..I'm just wondering if people who have these things in the air most of the time in desert areas playing around on the dunes really can keep these from rolling.  Of course I've only seen the extreme riders short online movies.  I know nothing about anything Off-road..  Heck,  I put a nobby on a Harley 65 CC years ago I know nothing

If you love it, no dune is too far..  LMAO  LMAO
