I don't think it should matter either way. It probably depends on the venue and whether or not there is a stage or kj booth. I didn't know a kj was suppose to be the star of the show to make the show worth being at?  LOL
I think I've heard that topic discussed here before.
The places I've been to with the same kj have always been some kind of makeshift set-up anyway....a folding table for the equipment usually. Why not be comfortable? Your mic speaking skills should be enough to keep the party going? It doesn't bother me to see the kj sitting.....'cept I can't see her butt that way.  LMAO

Oh, Hi Babs!! Glad to see ya around again!!    LOL

I don't hang out much anymore....but this is the kj forum.  LOL

I liked Charmin's question too.  LOL

Preferably, I have no preference in that matter.....I just like it all over the place!!! :oh yeah:  LMAO

Thank you

What you said makes sense to me. Why on earth would you need to stand if your in a both. Plus I remember a picture of Lonman's setup that looks like he has his own kind of set aside both that wouldn't require a whole lot of interaction.

I think it has a lot to do with where you're positioned. I'm standing right next to the singers and am careful not to try to steal any of their spot light. I'll even leave the stage during a song because the person is just so entertaining I don't want to take anything away from what they ar doing.

I've seemed to have created an interaction with a lot of my long time regulars. We do a little dance during a music break or created sing a long parts to their songs that I help get going. Some people will get offended if I don't sing with them.  LMAO Through the years knowing these people so well songs just evolved into me being a part of it. I have one guy that does zz top and if I don't do the guitar movements during the music break with him he's yelling for me. .It makes it more fun for me and them. I remember what it is like singing a song and a long music breaks comes and I'm uncomfotable just standing there, so I try to make it more comfortable by talking to them or encorage them to dance.

What ever is more comfortable for you.
Most of the time I see the KJ standing but,
if you have a bad back like me,
it probably get's hard to stand for 4 hours or more at a time.
