Actually that's not a dumb question at all Sharon. Few would know this unless they read it or recall it from school. I don't think this is a "common sense" type of deduction a person can make. Based on latitude south or north what is to necessarily say that climate would be reversed assuming two locations or roughly comparably distanced from the equator ?

Hey Kappy, you think that Gorge Road is scary? You should check out the Skipper's Canyon road at Queenstown....or the Cardrona-Queenstown road!

Yep. I'm familiar with Skippers Canyon. I posted stuff from that location over in the Natures Fury thread (at least I think I did)
For lack of a more endearing adjective to describe my concept of such an experience. I fondly named this photo "Hell"

I just hope he's OK. Dave had a huge heart and a great head on his shoulders. He was also going thru some lonely times so I hope he's happy, that's all.

OK, I'm just hoping he's OK Matt. Dave just seemed to disappear from the site about 6 months ago (at least it appears that way to me, I don't know), and that was the last I saw or heard mention of him.. Babs is back, we know Keith is OK but very busy... So I started wondering "where's Squid ?". I can be a Yenta like that !

And now for the Dave report..........
Dave is alive and well. He moved in with his sweetie Jennifer and he is working a new new job with odd hours.... We saw him last when AtxKlown was in town....I think he was in a few of the pics.. I'd have to check the Lookie who I met thread....But he is doing well.. And seems to be very happy and IN LOVE....
I will summons him to come on here and say hi....
Heck I don't even see him much anymore and he lives just a few miles from me...Such is life though....
