Greetings folks. I've been searching for an offbrand karaoke label called Hell-of-a-disc for a friend with the song (never gonna give you up) by barry white, to no avail. The disc he has is old and unplayable. I have seen these discs in years past and thought maybe they were repackaged under a different name. Does anybody have any information on this brand?

The label is Helluvadisc.  They're pretty good.  The proper spelling may help.

H004 track 9.

Another reason is they aren't made anymore.  You may get lucky & find it.  They were another offspring of the All Hits era, as were MegaHits.

always remember to check kjpro.com/browse for songs when you're trying to find them by artist, by song title, and by manufacturer.

You might get lucky and find a Helluvadisc Volume 4 somewhere.  This version of Barry White's "Never Gonna Give You Up" is STILL by far the best ever made for karaoke.  If you can't find HD04 anywhere you probably will be stuck with Legends 18 if you want this song.  Do not even consider the Music Maestro "version" on MM6055 - it's TERRIBLE.

"music maestro" and "terrible" is pretty redundant, isn't it?

I find some of their country songs OK, and prefer them in some cases to all others.

there are a lot of good songs that they did. AND a lot of terrible ones, too. Generally speaking, their 50s and 60s stuff was pretty decent. Ratpack stuff is awesome. And for a while, the only version of "Easy Tonight" by Five For Fighting was out by them. I got that disc then, and it's always been a general favorite of mine.

Their Billy Joel/Elton John/Barry Manilow (#6051) is pretty good... don't care for the Manilow tunes, but the BJ and EJ ones are really well done.

I don't have MANY discs by them, but I did keep up to date with what they released. When I found one I liked, I got it!
