Hello all of you.
I wish to key change some of my favourite songs that are too high for me, and save them back to disk.
I can transpose on my software, (karafun) but I cant save them.
Any recomenations welcome.
Also, how can I get rid of the anoying click that is heard before the song starts.

if you rip them to mp3+g and then use Cool Edit Pro 2 or I THINK Audacity, you should be able to resave the track after editing it, and then rerip to cdr if that's your desire!

Thankyou for your reply.
If this makes any sence to you,
(I'm lost, I am typing what was written for me.)
Converting to WAV , manipulation and converting back to MP3 should try to be avoided because of degredation. Direct MP3 transposition if possible.
Hope that makes sence.
The MP3's will stay on the computer.
If it's the only way to do it, so be it.
Many Thanks

I mentioned mp3s as that's what most who use those programs use... yes you can still use regular wav files as well.

Thankyou so much.
I have spoken to my son.
He has loaded Cool Edit and has transposed and saved.
With Cool Edit he has also been able to delete the anoying click that was at the begining of the track.
He also told me that MP3's cant be transposed directly.
They have to be converted to Wav first.
Once converted, my son saves them at high resolution MP3 to preserve quality.
That information was written for me.
Knightshow, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou.
DB.
