Re: Booth? Table?
that was the original thing he responded to.

Tim's posted info on here a while back about the setup he uses... It's a self supporting stand with the players towards the top and the mixer on the very top, with the materials stored further down on the stand... brings it in on a dolly.

Tim, you got those pictures still online? I gotta admit, I always loved the setup!

I use tables for now.  I'm hoping to make things look a lot cleaner with a new rackmount (cables exposed in current rack) and placing a logo over one of the tables to block  all the cables from the computer, external drives, and also the CD books that get brought in.

Space is as much a reason for going digital as anything else in my book.  I don't have permanent set-ups and using the old jvc800's means a lot of road cases full of disc magazines that all have to sit somewhere.

Only having the two cases/racks stacked in one spot would take some getting used to, but I'd be willing to suffer LMAO

oops, table (forgot to answer the question).  Sometimes that table is a pool table, two or three small tables, etc.

I use black bed sheets for table skirts.  Look good, don't show stains or wear very readily, and are cheap and easy to find/replace.

I'd consider some booth building if I went/go digital, but I wouldn't be able to use it at several of my gigs.  I'm often set up on the pool table to conserve on space.
