Sometimes believe it or not customer support teams can actually be of some help. I recently purchased a pair of Alesis Pro Venue 15" speakers through musicians friend.  According to "Their" website, these cabs were suppose to be loaded with 15" "Cast Frame" speakers. So just to be on the safe side, i also checked the alesis web site. Sure enough, cast frame speakers with a 3" voice coil. Oh boy...i was just so excited, i ordered two right away. UPS delivered them, i just about ripped the box apart getting them out. Looked them over, and read the tag on the back, "Stamped Frame" speakers. My heart just sank, these things would be at least 30 bucks apiece to send back. Well i immediately contacted alesis customer service to see what gives. He said i was right, and they had the wrong info on their web site, and sent the wrong info to "ALL" their dealers. If we can't go by what's online when we buy gear who can we trust? A customer rep at alesis his name is Steve Grace was just so helpful and solved this matter through musicians friend with a FedEx pick up and refund, we talked karaoke, and pedal steel guitar since i also play pedal steel in a country band. I give a hand to alesis, and in "This" case musicians friend. Below is a nice email i got from Steve. Lets hear your nightmare, or happy endings with customer service.

Excellent George!

We’ll let Musician’s Friend handle it, that’s great. They are a good company to deal with.

You’ll be happy to know that we have corrected our Product Overview on the woofer design, just to be perfectly clear in the future.

Thank you for the compliment, we always try to make customer service and satisfaction a number one priority. We know that among musicians, reputation is important and word travels fast.

If Alesis ever comes out with a pedal steel guitar, I’ll let you know. Maybe a MIDI pedal steel?

Best of luck in all of your musical endeavors!

While playing in my band a few years back, there was a power spike in the main amps section & it blew 2 dual 18" Carvin subs.  Our tech called Carvin the next day, they sent out 4 new drivers that day with the return shipping already paid, we swapped out the bad with the good & send back the bad.
