I really like doing Bohemian Rhapsody with a bunch of people.. I have done it several times with people from this site... It has everything.. You got your slow parts, your fast parts, the high parts and the low parts.. It's just an all round fun song to get a bunch of people to sing.....And it doesn't get sung a lot at Karaoke so it is ussually a welcome suprize

Are you kidding? Maybe it's an area thing, this song gets done almost nightly in my show.
Good sing along for the crowd in our club
Pantera - Walk (complete with fists in the air)
AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long
Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline (small part during the Bah Bah Bah)
Rammstein - Du Hast

I've never heard that song at karaoke.....
Or, any of the others you listed. I don't even know what that last one IS.
Gosh, Canby is too much of a hicktown:) It's pretty much country songs that get sung here, with just a bit of other stuff thrown in. Mostly older rock, and some of the newer girlie pop.

We get alot of rock/metal done (Thursday night has almost become exclusive for classic 70's rock, 80's hair metal/rock to todays rock only). Country gets it's fair play through the rest of the week though mixed with the rock.

Two songs I sing where the crowd tend to sing a long are:
Piano Man
I'm a Believer
I don't know why but people know those songs, I think the second song is the Shrek influence.

Yeah, and I swear, next time I hear four or five drunk girls get up TOGETHER to do "Goodbye Earl".... I'm gonna puke...... ON them.
That used to be a song I had fun with once in a while, but it turned into a "drunken group song", so it kinda lots it's flavor for me.

...and I would listen to that ten times in a ROW, if I knew I would never have to listen to 8 tone-deaf drunks yowling Paradise By The Freakin' Nauseating Burned Out Never Should Be Played Again Dashboard (ick) Light! Of course you may have gathered that this is my most popular group song......
Summer Nights from Grease is a biggie, as well as Love Shack, It's Raining Men, and, the official I Hate My Boyfriend Song: I Will Survive.

Not sure if this exactly relates, in fact it’s probably opposite of what you guys are sharing here.
My brother has a party/picnic once a year with his friends, mostly involved in the live theater in the area. He’s not much of an actor, but he’s produced a few plays/shows and regularly directs.
It’s a one-day/night party, but it ends up lasting for days.
Anyways, about half the theater people are gay, which seems to be the nature of the industry, and between that and the rest of the artsy mentality, it makes for interesting choices of music. Some, but not too much of what you’d hear in the average bar.
Of course I provide a PA and karaoke, and he has a stage in back by the pool, and we have a good ol’ time.
The theater people are some real show people, and real hams, and I’m not just talking about the gay folks, I think the straight ones may be worse.
I don’t know too many show tunes, but they pick the most beautiful songs, and some real talented singers/performers.
It’s cool because I get to sing on the stage with the biggest local theater people in the area.
I’ve become their karaoke guy, mostly for big birthday parties and such.
Lots of singing fun.

Will trade you for Bohemian Rapsody! PBTDL never gets done over here (or rarely), had 1 couple that did it extremely well once.

Y-M-C-A even the most hetero of us all will do the arms and sing the chorus
David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" the added parts between the lyrics.
All the girls are know singing along when another lady sings Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats"

My wife and I get a lot of traction from "Rawhide", the Blues Brothers version. Of course she does a great "Yaaahh!", so that might be it.

Songs that everyone sings along to down here in sunny FL:
Margaritaville
Sweet Caroline
Livin on a Prayer
Friends in Low Places
Keep Your Hands to Yourself
You Shook Me (All Night Long)
Get Low
F**k Her Gently (Tenacious D...I doubt most of you allow this one, but my crowd LOVES it)
Perfect Country and Western Song (the CORRECT title of DAC's often mistitled You Never Even Called Me By My Name)
Sally, That Girl (another one that I doubt most of you allow, but it gets em singin and dancing everytime!!)
Piano Man
Baby Got Back
Before He Cheats (like the other guy said, the girls eat this one up!!)
Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy
One thing about my crowd, they are pretty diverse in their musical tastes!!

I"m surprised (not much) by the AC/Dc list above-- that IS what I sing after all-- and yes, I guess I've noticed sing alongs with doing Dirty Deeds...
Some others that come to mind--
Wanted, Dead or Alive (I think that's title) - Bon Jovi
Alot of Motown stuff ends up being sing-a-long (e.g. Ain't to Proud to Beg)
Delilah
Picture (which gets done ALL the time-- Sheryl Crow/Kid Rock)
Summer Lovin (not sure if this was mentioned already)
I think anything else I'd mention has already been noted.
Regarding Theater folks-- I've had my share of experiences with Theater folks too. Both my kids have been in shows for years. And yes, in community (and school) theater, there are alot of gay guys. Guess there is "some" truth to the sterotype. Its interesting to see (younger) theater folks at Karaoke. They pick stuff you wouldn't ordinarily hear from that age group and will get the occasional show tune.
Actually, I wouldn't mind doing Seasons of Love (from Rent) sometime.
