I have just received in the mail from a sweet kind wonderful friend a studio projects C1 condenser mic, has anyone had any experience with them and what do I need to do to set it up correctly?
I have never used a condenser mic before

If your mixer doesn't have phantom power (some boards mark it as +48V), you would need a special phantom power supply, other than that you hook it up just like any other mic.

If you mixer has the phantom power, you connect your mic then engage the phantom power.  Nothing really unique about setting them up, except you would want to get a shock mount adapter if it don't come with one - it isn't a handheld mic, you set it up & leave it alone.  Sing anywhere from 6"-12" away.  It's going to pick up every little noise so make sure you are isolated as much as possible.

and you'll want a wind screen/pop filter

ok thats cool my mixer has phantom power...but if I use the mixer I will have to use the soundblaster external cos for some reason the m-audio fast track doesnt like recording via the mixer, the results are muddy and although it has an xlr input in the m-audio it doesnt have phantom...I never thought I would ever have a condensor mic when I bought the m-audio

Good to have guys like Loman around, eh!?

Aren’t those mics extremely sensitive?  What are you going to use it for?

Vocals?

Nice Mic.  That's about the biggest bang for the buck in large condenser mic at the moment.  You can get them for about $225 new which is peanuts for a large condenser but the sound is better than the price would suggest.  A large condenser will tend to be a little more fragile than a dynamic becasue they are intended for studio work.  There are hand held condencers too and those are for stage work.  Just be careful not to drop it and you will be fine.  You'll love the sound.
