Times are tough.. See the I'm going to quit thread for the smoking part of it... But anyways.. Gigi got caught in the big layoffs at COMPUSA.. She did actually get laid off they gave her 120 days notice....I think she has about 90 days left.... She is looking into starting a business in addition to her her soaps and candle business she has, rather than go to work for someone else again.. That is keeping them both very, very busy....

But they are doing good.... Just surviving everyday life like we all do......

Where are Chuckles and Gigi?

Now, I don't think it fair that Chuck got a nickname and Gigi didn't.

So, I think from here on out, I'm gonna call them Chuckles and Giggles:)

More fitting I think.  :D

Y'all are so sweet! Life has been different so far this year; not better nor worse, just different.

Kinda glad to get laid off; I am too old and too fat to lift 100-lb. battery-backup units and climb 16-foot ladders. And, hey, CompUSA had already sent me to Hawaii; how can I complain? I figure I was not smart enough to quit this job myself so they did me a favor and decided to close more than half their stores. I wish them the best; it was a logical business decision and one that hopefully will let the company survive and thrive.

It's my turn to have a "confidential" game plan--I am putting a business plan together to try to get some funding and you know what? They expect you to actually have some ideas as to what you want to do and how you want to do it. Wassup wit' dat? PM me if you want details or have a few thousand bucks to throw away...INVEST--I mean INVEST.

In any case, the prodigal Giggles (I love it!) has returned, sassier than ever. Expect to see me more in the Tech and Karaoke forums, too.

I will be seen more in the tech forums in the future as well.  I'm sure I will have plenty of questions for the techies since I'll be spending some time at the shop if Gigi opens it.

Sometimes a door is closed or slammed in your face It is because providence has a bigger door for you to enter and things work out according to natural and spiritual laws We are with you kiddo... If there is anything we can do holler..

As far as the INVEST right now I cant afford fuel for my lear jet and had to let my pilot go
