Hello everyone, I'm a newbie and I need help!!!
OK, with that said, I have a question...probably a dumb one...but a question none the less. What computer program would I need to make my song title/singer list alphabetical? I have no idea what programs could do this, and I know they are out there....but where?
So anyway, thanks for your time and answers...look forward to them soooooon....

Just about any word processor will do that. What format is your list in?

I would suggest using MS Excel - you can keep a single list and sort by however you want.

I've tried a few, and KJPro is my choice. Enter by disc # (after checking), no typing out each and every bit of info. books can be customized by title, artist, or disc, as well as a catalogue book for keeping track of inventory. Many fonts, sizes, etc...Best I've seen. Software comes with a 1 year subscription to their online database of all karaoke songs and mfrs with dic #s, which you can download and update, so you can work off line. Something like 280,000 songs as of my last update. Search by song, artist, or disc, or sets. You can also hand enter, and customise many styles of separate songbooks ( i.e. Country, or Hip Hop, etc...) A VERY nice program....

I used to use ms excel, but went to access database when my entries got over 15,000... excell really drags buttsky when you start getting huge lists. I think it has a limit of 25,000, but I'm not sure about that.
I had a friend of mine online had four separate excell spreadsheets with 20,000 entries per sheet. He was freaking out and I took his spreadsheets and pasted them into a simple database of four fields. Disc (with numbers), Artist, Song, and I used an invisible field for index entries (but in my database, that's with the discs, as I had no duplicate disc numbers... he did!).
Took me like 15 mins to copy and paste all of them into the database and send it to him. He was amazed at the custom sorts I created for him with by disc number, by song title, by artist.
worked out well, and the sort capabilites is a click of a button!
