I vaguely remember that Cherish song from the late '80s Joyce!  I'll have to check that song out again on Yahoo Music.

Okay, so the Beach Boys was kinda random... but there are some SMB sounding effects in there. It wasn't the type of song I could personally relate to anything I've listened to before....

Nothing comes from the brain of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal and the members of No Doubt wrote the music for her No Doubt days, Pharrell and the Neptunes to do the music for her solo days, and lifting choruses from Showtunes (Fiddler on the Roof and Sound of Music) for some other songs.

I don't think she even thinks on her own of what she wears.  Some other record label person probably does that.   Before the spotlight, she was a brunette who wore punk dresses.
