Ive recently heard a song by Gwen Stefani called The Sweet Escape...It sounds sooo familiar to me..like the chorus "I know Ive been a real bad girl" ... Does anyone else have that same feeling or know what in the world I might be thinking of ?? Its driving me insane !!!  LOL

OK, my daughter says "STOP you pervs".... LMAO !!! That was her prom night this past Friday night. She looked amazing !! Thought Id share with all of my friends here.

Anyways, Criminal is not what Im thinking of its more the actual melody that sounds so familiar, Like an old 80's song or a showtune or something.

Gosh dang....... curiosity is killing me again:) I'm gonna have to go pull up my music program and have a listen. Though god knows, I don't know many songs of that genre, I'll never be of any help to ya.... But I can't stand not to hear it now.

Well, as I said yesterday, I'm no help at all.

Sounds to me like she borrowed a Beach Boys melody, and Steve Miller Band sound effects.....  LMAO

Gosh, I'm twisted:)

Sheree, you purdy lil' thang, you can check MY glove-na-box anytime:)

And no, I don't really have Tequila in my coffee. Dugans, yes.... Tequila, no. Though, if I don't get over this cold/alergy crum soon I'm gonna have something nice n' strong. My boss told me to have some Vodka with  pepper juice in it, then soak my feet in hot water, then put on thick socks and go to bed:) He said it was a sure cure. Hell, I think he was just trying to hit on me and get me drunk.

I remember the first time I heard this song I thought the same thing, but I can't pin point an exact '80s song that it reminds me of.  Now I've I've got that dang chorus in my head all the time!

Sorry, I don't know, although it kind of reminds me of one of the songs from High School Musical.
Just in that so-catchy-you-want-bang-yourself-in-the-head-to-get-the-sweetness-out kinda way.
I love that kind, actually.   LOL

Or maybe early Madonna.  Not the tune particularly, just the kind of style.

Well, I'm still holding out for Beach Boys rythming with a splash of SMB in there.

C'mon.... SOMEbody argue with me about it. Dang.

Kelley, you may be thinking of a few songs by Madonna from the 80's called True Blue or Cherish... I think my version of Sweet Escape is still up, if you need a reminder, it may clue you in.. :hi5:
