I have a Sony DRU720 and a Plextor 740U. Both burn Power Karaoke, but the plextor burns at 1X where as the Sony's slowest speed is at 8X. Needless to say I always use the Plextor

I also have the plex 740 (usb). it is the only Burner I have ever found that will read and write Mediaclog disks.

The Plextor Premium does MediaCloq as well - depending on the program.

EElvis,

Where were you when I was asking about reading Mediaclog disks?  Just kidding, of course.

Does anyone know of other drives that will read Mediaclog disks?

For a stand alone you can't beat a Microboards QuicDisc.  Burns it all, AND can also scan a crappy disc, safe copy from the scan, and remaster.  Available as both a duplicator and track by track.  Built in upgradeable firmware. Not cheap.   Google "Microboards Technology"

Yamaha does not make CD burners anymore but many if not all of their models will read and write CD+G code. I have an USB external unit, model CRW-F1UX, and I was able to use it two different machines without any problems. Many of their internal drives as well.

Since they are not manufactured anymore, you may be able to find some used drives on ebay for cheap.
