I've searched the Inet and this forum, but can't find a songlist for backstage karaoke, I found one for sweet Georgia Brown.  I'd like to print the backstage list, anyone know where I can find it?

Also, is there a good program that will save a list of your music by automatically taking it from a tagged folder?  This would be so nice!  If I can't find the backstage list, what is the best way to get a list done quickly?  I don't mind paying for software if it is good.  thanks jim

if you have your karaoke songs in either mp3+g or mp3+g zipped files
there are 2 great programs that I have found to manage and print lists from
(ASSUMING ALL YOUR FILES ARE NAMED CORRECTLY)

BOTH ARE FROM LATSHAW SYSTEMS
KJFILE MANAGER
KJ SONG BOOK CREATOR

not a advertisement just some --suggestions

what are they and do you think they are better?  any input would be appreciated.  if it combines the use of a better Karaoke software player, that would be good to.  I've seen a couple kjs using RoxBox? i think and I liked that.  maybe there is something i could buy that does all this all in one?

One is Song list creator, which makes mistakes.

The other is called File list creator   http://www.wensoftware.com/flc/
It's a free download.
It is nothing to do with karaoke.
It will simply print out a list of all files in a directory inc. subs.
If you have your files named correctly, it will give you what you want.

If the files are already on your hard drive with the correct name.
Just go the command prompt in the appropriate directory and type
without the quotes "dir *.mp3 /s /b>songlist.txt"  This will print you out a list of the mp3 files in your directory and sub directories to a file called songlist.txt

I have all my ZIPPED me3+G files in one folder, with several sub directories.

I use JR Director Printer (freeware) and it makes a text file of what folder I choose.
http://www.spadixbd.com/freetools/jdirprint.htm

THen I import the text file into access or excell and manupliate it into colums and print song lists/books.

Here's another suggestion.  If you are a KJ Pro user, create a custom song book ( Say, "Backstage Song List"- I'm so original...). Go to "Add discs to song book", choose Backstage, and click the "tag all" box, and enter. Voila! Instant song list..
