I was thinking of Subbing "Leather and Lace" with Billy,  but I get so emotional singing my part, sometimes I start crying.  People don't understand how passionate we artists can be  :(

Every time I see Billy and Jeanne,  I think of that gorgeous Seals & Crofts song.  I can NEVER recall the title correctly... Is it Billy Lee & Ruby Jean,  or Billy Jean & Ruby Lee...  Now I must do a websearch  :)

This article is likely tagged onto this song, because this song was late 1960's during the vietnam period, another "torn by wore" period of history..and was one of the many protest type songs during this ballad genre around 1969.. albeit this is very mild in terms of some of Seals and Crofts songs... Listen to the real heartbreaker "Golden Ribbons".

Trying to think of my favorite songs.  I posted quite a few of them when I was new here.  Let me see if I can retrieve the list..

Very high on the list is "Never My Love" by the Association.  Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr do a nice rendition with the 5th Dimension too of course...Hmm.  There are loads of songs I like of that type.. I need to find my list, I can't think back that far right now  LOL

sometime ago i tried to do 'never my love' for ya, but couldn't get it....however, i had billy try it and he did an original version, a blues version AND a country version....wanna hear 'em?  i mean, i'd have to ask him first buttttt.....
