That is unless you got a copy before it got taken off the net for download.  I still think you should have it out there, just state that it is no longer supported.  I thnk I am gonna install it on my daughter PC, so she quits bugging me to puting karaoke songs on her computer.

Both of the above things are of course based on Winamp and MP3+G plugin, but I find that quite unreliable for show use. I know a lot of people put on a good show with it, but even the best KJs I know have occasional Winamp hiccups. MTU Hoster never has them if the machine is stable (in my experience).

I have to TOTALY disagree with that one.  After I got winamp and Sax&Dotty's installed, I never had any problems with Winamp. And that is with almost 3 years of use for KJing and DJing.

Now if I were one of thoes KJs/DJs that don't have a decitated PC for running shows, and was letting the kids use it for home work, browsing the internet, checking accounts program, ect....  I probably would have problems.  But my gig PC is just for that, and nothing else.

wow twans this be one of those times we are in total agreement  LMAO    Someone once advised me to instal S&D (the player not the hoster) into the winamp folder. Not sure what that does...cept the one time I didnt do that, I couldnt right click on a file and load it I had to open s&d to do it.

Oh Witchy-poo, I forgot to ask what kind of computer you have and what the operating system is, and what compression format you are using (mp3?  WMA?  Flac?)  I should have something usable here shortly so I will need an e-mail address to send it to.  Go to www.freewebs.com/sacksonuts and you will find my email address there.  Send me a copy of the memo or something if you ever find it.

Twan: I also agree that Winamp blows MTU out of the water for stability.

I've been to a couple shows where MTU just rocked... and a couple where it would crash everytime it tried to import a song... Harryoke had the same problem.

The one show here in KC that had a problem with it the guy does this stuff all the time. Builds his rackmount pcs and sells them... I just think something went amiss during the install of either the OS or the player.
