Karaoke Forums

Somehow ended up having a vacation there this April.

Does anyone know anything about the country, and some exciting things to do there? We're staying in a small town (forgot the name) a couple of hours outside San Jose.

All I'm thinkin' is us, the jungle, big insects, and a slim chance of karaoke bars (if there are any) that have English language cd-g's.

Seriously though, has anyone been there? Fun country?

A good buddy of mine owns two Condominiums there.  I'll get you info within the next two days. If you wish for specifics just ask.  That'd be easier... (Oh yeah,  they might not like that critter that's currently gnawing on your leg being down there though). EXTREMELY low crime !

Just mostly looking for cool things to do if your a tourist in that general area. Love to do the natural scenic areas kind of stuff, if that helps.

Low crime is definately a plus.

Forgot to renew the gator's passport.. so the country's safe for now.

Chris,  am I totally out've it or did you change the heading to "Karaoke places" ?..  For some reason I thought I read "does anybody know anything about cost rica" ( or something like that)... I missed the word Karaoke... ..  I doubt this individual would know much about Karaoke, but he owns property down there and knows alot of people... As far as Karaoke, that I doubt I can get info on.. A websearch would likely show up something in "Karaoke Costa Rica"  (IE what's around)... If you wish for ANY info on other less specific aspects such as what not to eat, where not to go, where you can find wild women, where you wouldn't want to find wild women, etc... and these important geographic areas regarding Costa Rica I can likely get you some info..

Naw, didn't change the title.... it was there to begin with. Just thought it would be funny if some here actually KNEW of a Karaoke place in lower Central America.

If it was '97 instead of '07 I'd definitely ask about the "wild women" pro's & con's info. For now, my girlfriend will have to live up to that standard while we're over there.

Kind of wondering if there are fun things to do there that don't get advertised on tourist web sites, too. Local flavor type stuff. Legal, of course.

Guess finding out the name of the small city we're staying in would help. Think it starts with a "C".
