Has Karaoke Scene come to a near stall ? the site doesn't refresh for me.   Maybe my computer having problems.  Anybody else currently experiencing near standstill conditions ?

I saw that in the list too, but when I saw who started it I thought I would remain the gentleman of sterling character that I have bamboozled some into thinking I am ! But Vicki..... I keep any "problems with my member" to myself.  :yes:

B dahlin meet Kappy, he is one of the most colourful and entertaining people here...kind to everyone and a fountain of knowlege on a heck of a lot of things.

Kappy meet B...he and I have been friends forever. He is incredibly talented and how he has put up with me for so long actually beggars belief actually come to think of it, you know how difficult it is cos YOU put up with me  LMAO

I polished up the Piano part to "Bless the Beast and the Children" today Milo, pretty easy actually,  I've been hitting the cocktail (genre) again  LMAO..Boz Scaggs too (the song "You can have me anytime") which was a gorgeous 1981 sleeper that too many never grabbed onto.  I haven't a clue why (must be this andropause stuff) but I've been into The Carpenters arrangements lately (probably because I'm feeling guilty for avoiding the dentist office out've fear or something).. What a genuis Richard was, his orchestration, sophistication on the overdubbed harmonies, Amazingly tasteful musician.. Hopefully when generations of folk recover from the commercial play that drove them into the MUZAK, elevator (blech-boooring) realm,  there will be rekindled interest in that type ballad.  I'm surpized (not sure why I'm thinking this now) no female has subd "C&T's"  "Disney Girls" in the Showcase.. I think that song,  or any of Minnie Ripperton's stuff would suit Billy's voice perfectly !

(don't mind me... The toilet seat fell on my head earlier today while I was getting a drink of water, I'm a little less "with it" than usual)

ADDED:  wha?  i wish you could get that to me somehow....i can't find the backing for that song, the one i bought off of rhapsody won't play...i guess i could ask some techy people how to convert it or whatever....i'm really anxious to do that now...i've been looking over some other backings of the carpenters, some i've done before and would like to get them back out and polish them up....

and did you say boz scaggs?!!  he is my all time favorite...yes he had manyyyyy gorgeous songs....'look what you've done to me'...'we're all alone'...'harbor lights'...sighhhhhh

errrrrmmmm....i forgot to to tell you, i cleaned the toilet today with this new powerful cleaner and forgot to flush, guess i better go read the label, not sure how toxic it was....other than being 'out of it' (which is beyond me how you could tell anyway) how are ya feeling?  nauseous?  dizzy perhaps?  you better not puke all over my nice clean floor....  :puke:

Good point !   It's interesting how few people realize what it's like to live in really rural areas like those of you that live in W Va.  where there's so much peace and quiet between houses, your closest neighbor is me in Central Ct...  Glad I still have a day left until the cops you called on me arrive !

well, i probably wouldn't have heard you, but we have about 6 inches of newly fallen snow and i suppose the sound carries more....and don't worry, i'll start feeling guilty and bail you out again, although seems to me you made some new friends last time and didn't want to be 'freed'....
