I know I can download from the cavs website, but is there any other leagal sources.
I haven't used zoom before. Do they have a legal download site?

I am updating my song books and am tired of buying CDGs and converting them. I'm at the point now I like my song library and only need to add the new stuff. Cavs doesn't carry everything. One of the songs in particular is Justin Timberlake's "Sexy Back".

Yeah, I say your, and though "COOL!  I want one!"  SO I waseted about 1/2 hour messing around.  It was fun though!

If I am ordering from CAV, do I want:

CAVS or Panorama

Minus One or Multiplex


As you all know, I am new to this and can't wait to start buying songs!!!

If downloading from CAVS I would take Chartbuster or Panorama over CAVS every time. You want minus one, unless you want the vocals then you want multiplex.

OK, I guess this is a foolish question, How do any of you consider any downloads legal, for karaoke, is it because they charge you for them or what?? To my knowledge thier is no such thing as a legally down loaded karaoke song. There are only two ways to get a legal down load. (1) It would  have to contain DRM encoding and the other (2) you would have to have written permission from the original coyright holder. not cavs, or chartbusters.or panarama.  It would have to be from one of the original artists or publishing Co. And you would have to have it in your possesion. I believe if you were to check it out you would find  only music can be down loaded legally

I found 5 songs on CAVS that I could not live without.

Purchased those 5 songs  (scoring a discount!!)  Panorama - Minus One

Downloaded all 5 songs and burned them to a master CDG.  (they worked perfectly)
Ripped all 5 songs to alter the key.
Altered the keys.
Burned them to a blank CDG  (and a second copy for my altered master).

I feel soooo smart!!!!
I think my IQ just went up 50 points.  At my age, I did not know that I had that many brain cells left!!!!!
