Last season or the episode of AI Tyler won... Some girl in Alabama had a woodchuck on her shoulder, and I've had this photo ever since

They are very smart animals ! Much smarter than any recent political leaders we've had here in the states in fact ! Scientifically, what they are is obese chihuahuas that have a very good sense of self, and can predict weather based upon their shadow recognition AND how much progress they've made on their Jenny Craig diets (SOLELY by looking at their jewish thighs when viewing their shadows in central Pennsylavania early February when things are relatively quiet in Karaoke Scene). That's how they chose the time of year !
Since they live near Amish areas (PA Dutch) they don't have scales and calenders so they resort to old geometric means of navagating through the years just using sundials and angle of their images 'n stuff.
Although related closely to small dogs, they at one time became hybridized by having a mother that was a real pig, Hence Praire Dog or Ground "Hog".. They also (being overweight) have tendency to be bulemic (which is where wood chuck comes from), they binge on trees and upchuck.

Kappy sweety remember in New Zealand, although we do have jewish people (as far as I can see they are simply part of our community) we do not have the Amish and we do not have groundhogs. What are jewish thighs?

Groundhogs day is a lendendary day.. Supposedly if Punxetawny Phil (not to be confused with Phill) see's his shadow when he peaks out've his hole in the ground there'll be 6 more weeks of winter.
I spelled Punxatawny PHlLL with only one "L" and the site editing software converted it to two L's :headscratch:

as opposed to what? 2 weeks 10 weeks? 52 weeks?
So what? everyone stops and waits for him to come out his burrow...how do you KNOW he actually sees his shadow? he might have cataracts.
I need more info

He does have bad eyes these days. Also a touch of alcohol psychosis, so few take him that seriously. He's a very old German dude, who's not what he was in the younger days. One of his parents must've had that A1 Milano gene because he's 125 years old today

so do you all lie in wait for the poor little sods? Hell no wonder theres been no show some years...I guess we have small myths bout early spring etc but nothing like this in fact ours are so insignificant as to not coming to mind LMAO
So what you are saying is...for one day a years USA stops to salute a lil critter who looks like a portly squirrell without a tail...probably scaring the poor thing half to death on that day...then for the rest of the year they are reviled as vermin???
