Not sure if there are any Police or Sting fans out there, but I just heard on the radio that they are re-forming for a tour of the country. Funny I was just trying to sing 'Sychronicity' yesterday at home. They have some good stuff.

I'd pay to see that show! Are they also doing a new CD or is it strictly the old songs? Either way it'd be a good one. Copeland and Summers are far too talented to not be in the public eye more often too.

I think I DID hear they were going to have a new cd. I'd love to go to one of their concerts. I passed on Rolling Stones, but should have gone as they ARE classic rock and roll history. Truth is there are tons of bands I'd like to see. I really need to get out more,... And don't know if any of you are aware...Austin calls itself the 'live music capital of the world'. Not sure if that is true. I'd think New York would have more, but perhaps they mean per capita. There is a lot of good stuff that goes on here though. That's why I love it and call it home. I've left Austin a couple of times for some beautiful places (Hawaii, Colorado), but have always returned. Something about this place (maybe familiarity) but it seems there are a lot of warm, fun loving people here. Not that I'm advertising for more to move here. I'd rather it not grow anymore. When I was a kid the population of Austin and surrounding areas was only about 350K. Now it is probably approaching 2 mil.

husband would pay to see em. I doubt I would...But Roger Waters was incredible...didnt need the rest of Pink Floyd there to perform Dark Side of the Moon, his line up was good enough to keep us all enthralled and his vocals seemed to be better than ever at 62
