No, but can't you right click and "save as" right here from my post? Or will that lose the animation too?
I'm such a dork at times:)

Actually....... that works, I just resaved it to my HD under a new name.
So you can save it that way Vicki:)
Or, don't if you're not in the mood, haha.

Uh, ummmmm..... I dunno.
You can PM it, you can email it (singin_along at yahoo.com)
You can put it here, and I'll copy it and put it in my photobucket to link to it.
Whatever floats your boat:) Thanks Vicki...
And gawd, I gotta get with the times and get photoshop.
I've been wasting part of the day as it is playing with pics of Tucker, and my HP software is SO limited, it's pathetic.

Charmin, there is a great program available for free downloading called "GIMP". I use it all the time and it's very much like Photoshop (almost it's equal I'd say). You can create and save animated gifs with it as well. If you know a little about how to use Photoshop, you have it made with this program. Here is the link:

I have no idea where P. hill is ......
But .... just hang in there. Things ARE happening ! There's a group that has been HARD at work getting all of this into "understandable" format for ADMIN .... and it is inclusive of nearly ALL that has been suggested in the POLLS threads, and a few others. It's in a "waiting" phase right now ... but asap ..... INFO will be forthcoming! Again ... just hang in there!

Ph*ll will get to things when he can, and I'm sure that's pending how administration feels regarding these issues too. PhlLL has family and friends on all corners and sides of the country, so my guess is at times he needs to take real life time to travel on ocassion, and even work and make money.

i wasn't inferring that P . hill wasn't around ...... or anything else about him or his friendships or personal life ...... I was just answering Charmin's question.
The "waiting" phase has nothing to do with P. hill right now.
Sorry if anyone else interpretted my comment in that way.

No, Not you Cindy, I was referring to this Kaplan Whiner.. He's always impatient, and just because he doesn't have a life, he seems to forget others have lives, and more important things to do than post 800,000 posts a week in here.

You getting that too? I thought it was just me, and because I switched and was using Firefox rather than IE.

Ohhhhhhh That character!!!! He's a good guy, honestly, he just gets a little over enthusiastic about things that he really cares about. I know others JUST like him!!
No idea why we all keep getting the Debug Message... or why we are getting errors when we try to post to the forum. Its a glitch on the server.... but that is about all I can gather from it. I'm sure someone will be fixing it all soon, though. Its happened before, and seemed to stop for quite a while. Again... PATIENCE, my friend... PATIENCE!!!
Hope everyone is doing well!!!!!

Steven Kaplan @ Sun Jan 28, 2007 4:20 pm wrote: Since I don't sub in SS I don't know what it looks like for a person who submits a song PRIOR to entering "C", but I stated ages ago, and assumed there was a VERY concise definition of WHAT "C" means.. If not, THAT is something that SHOULD'VE been implemented (IMHO) ages ago... You CAN NOT have an ambiguous Critique category that leaves room for Camouflaged bashing and fluff alike because few handle grey, so many see things in all or none terms when something is quite a real issue and ego is involved... Artists DO have ego's... we all do ! Here is all I see in SS about a definition of what you are supposed to do: Quote: Can I leave comments without casting a score? Well, the answer is Yes & No. We would like you to rank the performance, if the submitter has permitted this. You can select "prefer not to rank" this will not count against the singer! The comment section is to either:
1. explain why you provided that score 2. give the submitter critiques of their performance 3. let them know that you enjoyed it
Preferably you would do a little of each, but at least one of the first two. The comment section is not to start a conversation/discussion, that is why we have the forums.
May I respond to someone's comment? Yes, only if the comment is on a song you submitted. Just remember by submitting your songs in the Singer's Showcase you are welcoming others' to provide their comments. You may not agree with the comments or ranks given, nevertheless, it is inappropriate to berate someone in the comment section of the song submission. Most will be critiques to help you improve. However, if you have a valid complaint, please contact the site administrators who will then determine the appropriateness and possibly remove the offending post.

Must be something new, but I too JUST got that as I was sending a PM.

Thanks Vicki.... I did see that email from you but I goofed.
(and I'm much too embarassed to say it out loud here, so just... go read the PM I sent ya, haha)
By the way, while I'm on the subject... anyone who sent me one of the 12 emails I have (had) since about noon yesterday... could ya send again please? Thanks.
Michael... That's what I need. Another computer program to tie up all my time and keep me from cooking dinner, folding laundry, and doing all those girlie things my gender usually do in the evenings:) Thanks.... heading there now.

For everyone's convenience, here is a brief summary of things I've mentioned and thought of so far in regards to possible SS improvements. All, some, or none of these could be implemented. (Note: most of these are detailed further in the thread 'Vote On New Options ATTN: PHiLL (aka webguru)' in the Karaoke Forum:
1) Create more detailed, restrictive instructions for use of Singers Showcase. Let people know up front that if they ask for comments then they may get detailed comments or criticism. Rank may not be what they expected. Note the elements that should be covered in a comment. Comments should never attack a person, they should only address the song they are reviewing and be as objective as possible. They should include positive remarks as well as recommendations for improvement if there are any, etc.
2) Create a separate more serious version of SS, but leave the current one as is.
3) In SS or the more serious version of SS eliminate conflict of interest by requiring and implementing a mechanism whereby subbers can't be reviewers and reviewers can't be subbers during a certain timeframe.
4) Create a reviewer membership similar to Epinions.com, and the web modifications to support it. Provide mechanisms for people to rate reviewers based on number and quality of reviews etc.
5) Provide buttons and mechanism in SS to choose 'REPORT' and 'BAN' similar to implemented elsewhere on KS for those occasions where people are being abused. This will help to self police comment posts making them more reasonable hopefully.
6) A suggested scoring definition will be provided for the meaning of ranks 1-10.
7) People could just state in the description of the subbed song that they desire a more realistic and stringent professional style review if they want.
8 ) Provide a moderator to police SS.
This is in addition to the current ones already mentioned for that thread.
Anyone have any others to add? Anyone really care? LMAO

Yeah Well, I don't really know him. Just what I see here in KS. He NEVER shuts up ! Sorry if I offended any of his friends (although I can't imagine he has any, which is why he's here all the time). OK, I better shut up lest I end up accused of being confrontational and flaming in this site.
