I am SOOOO tired !! We bought a dj collection of about 1000 cds a few months back & our party season is hitting us square in the eyes with birthdays & anniversary parties being booked now that I have to play catch up importing into my laptop all of the cds..I try to get by on what we have but have a feeling that if I dont put what we have on that SOMEONE is gonna ask for the particular cds we didnt put on ya know?LOL Anyways Im doing this by myself hubby is working during the day & is tired at night soo here I am 3:30 am at the pc like Ive been alll day !! I wish I had a little help from my friends ...I know I know If I had been working on it all along it wouldnt be this much but ya live & learn I guess !

I just bought a new karaoke disc and the jewel case is empty.   Think they are goin to believe me????    LMAO

Ya know I was just thinking to myself that you were gonna comment on "filler music" here ! ! I just KNEW it !  While I dont particularly LIKE filler music at a karaoke show (as a singer) I'll play it when Im asked (as a kj) But these are for mostly dj'd parties.Just expanding the business a bit. Its actually proved to be profitable too. have almost paid for our collection already.

NOW ya show up !!! ! Im actually done preparing for this past Sat. party & now taking a break ! Weve got alot left to do but I really am tired this week from all the activity...The party went really well they sang most of the night but I was glad we were prepared for dj'ing too. There are pics on myspace & our website too. They had a blast ! We also just got our first weekly gig after months of waiting for one ..So we updated the books & all for that Just been sooo busy. But at least its picking up a little, our yellow pages ads just came out this month so I believe thats whats helped us.

Hey,
Wanna buy a cheep laptop.
 LOL  LMAO

Is there no way you could put an uncopied CD
into the drive. USB drives are pretty cheep.

We are not copying discs we are loading our original discs on to our laptop so we don't have to carry around 900 discs.

We have an external drive that works just fine and we just bought our laptop this past summer... Thanks anyway.

What I mean is...
As you know, your laptop CD drive
wont play your karaoke disk.
Your USB drive will.
If someone asks for a track you do have
that is not on your HD, You could
still play the CD on your USB.

Oops.

I mean USB CD or DVD

Some laptops will play CDGs.

I dunno where yall are goin with this but, we have an ext. Cd/dvd drive that will play cdgs too. We are loading dj music onto our HD right now as we have already imported all of our cdgs.
