So, Eben, whatcha think of the new iphone? (I was surprised they went with that name, considering I thought it was TAKEN).......

I use one of George Strait's new tunes off of his newest album. The song is called, "She Told Me So." It does not get a lot of airplay yet, but it is a great tune. Wonderful lyrics, even if the ringtone only plays a small part of the song. --Mike

Hi Gilly. Long time no talk. I went to MacWorld to see the iPhone and I am very very impressed. I am definitely getting one as soon as they come out. I wish they put a bit more memory for music but I can live with it. I love the User Interface on the phone.
You know Gilly, if you did have a cell phone, I would call you everyday. :D

Hi Starlight. The difference between yours and mine is that mine was free. Hehe, too cheap to pay for tones when I can make them for free. I just need to find a free MIDI file of that song that sounds decent, arrangement wise.
Thanks for the offer, not sure if the files would be compatible anyways.

I sat on macrumours watching the keynotes live... was very excited, waiting for some cool stuff... (was hoping for something a BIT more, computer wise...) Not THAT impressed with apple tv, however the iphone is highly impressive!:) Currently i am shopping for a macbook pro.... I don't own any of the intels yet... But, I was waiting, to see if they got better;) (Seeing as how they upgraded them to a core 2, I was afraid to buy one, and have a BETTER option:) Mind you, I do NOT need more computers... oooops, I am babbling!
And, thanks for the sweet comment (Call me when you get your iphone;) The ONLY people that call me is my mom and dad, and French wrong numbers that I don't understand!:) "Bonjour,... er... um... huh?"

Ringtones, eh?
"Crazy Train".... Love that "All aboard.... hahahahaha" when most people call. Have gotten weird looks from people when that ring happens.
"Miserlou" from Pulp Fiction when girlfriend calls.
"Halloween" theme when work calls.
Also occasionally use the theme from "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly". Makes me feel tough.

Yeah, I was at the pedestal where they had the iphone under a glass dome and drooling like everyone else who was there. They had to clean up the puddle of drool after the show. I am also looking for a MacBook Pro. I will probably buy on in next couple of weeks. My iMac was purchased 2 months before the Intels came out so I missed out. This will be my first Intel Mac.
Also, I saw the new version of Parellels which allows Windows XP to run inside Mac window and I was very impressed. I am definitely going to buy it and run the XP so I can eliminate one computer and run both off my laptop.

Lol, I bought MY imac one month before the intels.... however, i KNEW they were being released... I simply didn't WANT one at the time.... There wasn't enough available, IMO... however, NOW i want one:) I have been watching the refurb. section of the apple store. Good prices:) I need the middle, or the top pro though, for my games:) I don't have much need to run XP, but Justin can probably find some reason to run it:)
Oh my.. geek alert. I am gonna shut up now:)

Finally bought our first cell phone the car for emergencies 6 months ago and have used it for all of 45 seconds, so I suppose my ringtone would be "Sound of Silence"

My daughter has a cute one. Don't have a clue the name of it, but everytime it rings it plays this tune that sounds like "Nobody Doesn't Like SaraLee". I hear it and each time I end up singing that little diddy. Then makes me think of pastries.
Mine rings a normal loud ring so I can hear it when at Karaoke. But for some people I really don't want to talk to, it plays the simple tone they provide "William Tells Overture". If it is a number that is restricted or without a caller ID, it plays this "Dream Sequence". It is so soft, I never hear it and don't worry about answering it.
If you don't want me to know who you are, then don't call me!!! I had the ex's girlfriend calling me for some time, and would block the number. Guess who didn't answer the home phone either. Wish I could have put distingushing rings on that phone. Think she just wanted to know if I was with him when she wasn't. That is when I decided to start distingushing the rings on the cell. Now I don't even have a landline. Why bother. Everyone was a toll call. Verizon is fantastic.
