hi,
let me start by saying i am VERY new to all this ...
i am nowhere close to knowing a 1/3 of the knowledge of karaoke that you guys know ...
i doing everything that i am doing researches and reading from this forum ...
***this all started cuz my two daughters LOVES to sing and they are always singing.
so, i got alot of cd+g (as well as midi) karaokes and installed into my IMB T40 laptop,
then i installed Power Cd+g player (as well as karaFun) for them to just play and sing to it ...
this is all i know how to do so far ...
i am REALLY not looking to get all high tech or professional, just some good old - simple fun for my kids.
now, we got a malata player 6838 ...
i just wanted to burn those CD+G files in my laptop to a dvd, instead of cds,
i do know how to burn them on cds and play them on the malata.
but then i would have like 100's cds laying around.
i also know that in order to get them on dvd i have to convert them into AVI
the ONLY way i know is using the Power CDG to AVI converter to convert then burn the AVI.
my question is, is there another way?
TIA !!!
Hmm, since you are using a laptop, why not just digitize them so you won't have to deal with any discs at all? PowerKaraoke makes a rip/copy program that works great. All you have to do is rip all your CD+G to your hard drive and using their player software, you can play the songs right from the hard drive. I think that would be the best way.
