I'll take some snow down here.. All we got coming down is freezing rain...It's just a mess.. At least with a dusting of snow we would have something pretty to look at...
I'm stuck in the house cause the roads are frozen and I have nothing to do but bake stuff..Anyone wants some cake??

I'll take some snow too! We have the cold, teens and 20's but no snow. As long as I don't have to drive in it, I love the stuff.

Danny, I don't think the cake will last that long.

Very true... With teenagers in the house, it will probably be inhaled almost as soon as it is frosted.

We have a huge stew simmering. Maybe we could all ice skate somewhere and trade goodies for the duration.
I have my fingers crossed--no work tomorrow! 32 miles one way in all this muck doesn't sound appealing.

Status - The cake is done but not frosted..I will be doing that as soon as I am finished with this post... It is Chocolate with White Buttercream frosting.
The brownies are cooling and the cookies are burning... I have now burnt 3 batches....I don't know what I am doing wrong.. rich is eating them as fast as they come out of the oven..But still when they are black they don't look or smell very appetizing...So I just told Rich he has to cook the rest of the cookies...I give up...
FYI....I can hear him in the kitchen scraping the latest batch off of the cookie sheet!!!
Breakfast burritos for the week are done and in the fridge.
Roast for dinner is cooking and the Butter beans are a simmering...
We've got plenty...Come on over!!!!
OOOO I would love to get out of work tomorrow.. I am going to wait until around 10am to go in myself....That will give the ice a chance to melt and the stupid people will have already wrecked their cars and been towed away...
How's that for positive thinking...
