I still maintain they should vanquish the "Near Perfect" (and especially) "The Perfect" rankings or renumber them or some such thing. Maybe replace "Perfect" with "Excellent". Just what constitutes perfect (unless it involves gem cutting) I don't know!

Quote: I prefer to NOT critique others as I dont feel Im knowledgeable enough about music or have the technical skill or ability to offer useful critiques of others. I might say I really like this or that--ot that a particullar tune is a good one for that person but thats about it.
In fact, NONE of us that even have a musical background qualify to critique MANY styles/ genres of music. Just as you might not feel you qualify to critique, I often have to defer critiquing because I'm not familiar enough with a style, or at times I feel the person is just too advanced/accomplished a singer for me to offer ANYTHING constructive. I agree that this is all about knowing OUR OWN boundaries. Fact is, MOST in a Karaoke forum don't have sufficient backgrounds that make them credible to "Critique". Comment & offer general opinions of course, but critiquing requires a person have at least some musical training, and communication skill as well as a mindset comfortable with the process.

Morgan,
I'm not even off work yet and you are already misbehaving.
I have a plan - no more critiques - good or bad -
By the way, I'm still looking in to this snog thing.

But if it snows tonight like they say it's going to here, I am not going to be able to see a thing, so being lost is pointless... - Tonya
