Is this possible? I cant find it anywhere. I have software and a burner to handle CDG's and was wondering if I can purchase individual songs anywhere online?
I'm new at this.
Thanks

At $2 a song. The Sound Choice downloads are twice as much as buying the disc.
Download 15 songs, $30
Buy the disc with 15 songs, 17.95 on sale. :O

Or if you're looking for 15 songs that only come on 15 different discs then you pay $269.25 ... pick your poison.

If you buy a custom disc, you will already have the disc.

I realize if I buy a custom disc, the I have the disc. I was wanting to download CDG's and burn my own disc because it seems the differenty sites that have the ability to do custom discs have different libraries so the songs I want would come from a few different places therefore it wouldn't be all on one disc it would be different discs.
Maybe it isn't possible to do what I want. Rumor is iTunes willsomeday have a CDG library, then it would be easy to do what I want.
Thanks for all the responses.

Depending on the length of the songs, you can only get 15-20 on one disc anyway.

I know how you feel cause sometimes the selection su*ks or you want it in a certian brand etc.
Right now you have to deal with what is available on the market. Currently their is a limited selection of downloadable or Custom CDG discs available that are Legal.
I posted 3 sites that I know are for real and legal.

Sound Choice merely has links to places to download its songs. I picked Google to download All That Jazz for $1.99. I got it, sounds great, just one problem. It is a .gvi file embedded in a Google player. Let the buyer beware.
Apparently Sound Choice's .99 music-only downloads are indeed .mp3 format.

SoundChoice dot com? They have almost the entire library.
MP3 is the format you want.

One thing I notice is that many companies are doing away with their rock CDGs - this is going to drive me crazy since its what I sing the most. I loved THM/Panorama's rock songs and I could download them at CAVS, but the last disc they put out was October 2006. There is a lot of new, good rock music out there, but now I can't find it on CDG . If anyone has any info or knows of anyone keeping up with the rock, I'd sure love to know...thanks.

What's the matter with Pop Hits Monthly?
Jian, I listened to some of the renditions from the sing web site. They sound pretty close. :O

Don't just confine the search within the US; the UK karaoke manufacturers are just as good. Zoom have over 2000 songs online. There are others.

Pop Hits Monthly dropped their Rock category a year or so ago and although they will sometimes include a rock song on their Pop CDG's its not really worth the purchase of the disc. Also CAVS doesn't carry their songs for download...only THM/Panorama, sometimes Chartbuster and of course Nutech, which well thats not a favorable option .

MP3 is the format you want.
FYI: You also need the .cdg file to show the graphics.
mp3 = music
cdg = graphics for the lyrics
On a side note, I purchased custom CDG's from a couple of different vendors offering Sound Choice a couple of years ago. I like to backup my investment on my PC and one disc came with a disc that was all black on the bottom (like a playstation disc), not clear so my CD drive wouldn't read it. Yet it played in a player just fine.
Just a FYI for people that want to order custom discs. I can't remember which place had the good one and which place had the black disc.

This is the only site that had what I was looking for. The library wasn't the greatest but the sight has downloads of songs and graphics I can burn to my own CD which is what I was looking to do.
