Karaoke Forums

Today today I have been making all of the preparations for a massive Karaoke sleepover at my place....I invited the folks from austin but they can't make it(they have a show to do).. I invited the guys from OKC and they will be there.. So  in attendance we will have 8 people from this site...

This is gonna be so much fun..I just can't wait for it to start...We start at 7pm and we sing and eat chips and dips and stuff like that..(and jello shots and whatever else people are bringing to drink....Then at midnight we will celebrate with champagne...After midnight we will have Blackeyed peas and cornbread (this is a southern tradition)....In the morning we will be watch a Karaoke move(Duets) while we cook a breakfast that consist of Pancakes and sausage...  

Of coarse we do not have a bedtime set so we may be eating breakfast before we all bed down for the night..Or we may eat it whenever we get up in the morning..Who knows...

We will be posting pics in a couple of days......As soon as we all recover...

sounds fantastic I hope all goes well tis 10 to 4 (pm) ny eve and I am about to jump in the shower and get ready for our gig. 2 hour round trip to get there, we start at 8pm and who knows when we will finish tonite as its the publicans last night at the hotel.
This is our 5th nye at the same hotel so it may be our last depending on whether the new people want us back I guess.

at least your dog doesnt look scared of you Chuck. Someone posted a pic of them and their dog (I think they had put reindeer antlers on it) and the dog looked terrified.

Think of this one as a preliminary round for something we will do for everyone, hopefully in 2007. We can give plenty of notice so you can all quit your jobs and sell your spouses to riase some money (eBay is a good spot, I understand) and get down here. We have tossed around some ideas.

You notice Sharon didn't mention fireworks? That becuase we create our own!

OK .....so we have Richard and Susie bedded down in my bed,,,,  Meep70 is crashed with his girlfriend in the back living room.  I have 3 college kids in my extra bedroom.  And approx 10 kids between the age of 13 and 18 still hanging out and playin video games....  But in the mean time ...RIch , myself, our friend Jeff, Chuck and GiGi are still up drinking coffeee.  We got some great pic that we hope to post in the next couple of days..


I wish you all were here!!!  oh Crystal...I wish   you could be here and I wish I could be at your b-day!!!  Maybe some day...

At least I remembered to get my syrup.

Angel had a really good time too. When we got home she couldn't stop staring out the window as if she wanted to go back. She is still giving me long looks like she wishes we never had to leave.

Sorry we took all of the Griffin's syrup. I meant to leave one of them with you guys.

I forgot that I wanted to thank Meep70 (Danny) for running the karaoke for free. It's hard to find a KJ to do that especially since it went from 8:00pm to 7:00am.

Danny, you rock. The sound was awesome and I got to sing new stuff from my Judas Priest and Headbanger's Ball disks. That's hard enough but if the sound hadn't been perfect it would have been impossible.

Is that how you do it? Cause, geez, I can do THAT!!! Not sure what the going rate is on Ebay for a grumpy male who's been married over 20 years... but heck, I can lie in the description a bit. Should get enough to cover a plane ticket atleast:)
