It isn't until I look at the photos of the guys some of you girls are attracted to, that I remember how much younger so many of you are.. It's just sort've funny because those boys playing guitar would be between our Son's and Grandson's ages.
Actually darlin I don't always go for long haired guys... just certain ones. I know people a lot older than me that love the long haired men... and I often go for the shorter haired ones. I just think Robert Plant is sexy... period. @ Vicki ... I think he does it on purpose sweetie

Well, Robert Plant isn't a youngster by any stretch of the imagination. I was talking about the males in those photo's. I do forget that many of you girls are 20's, 30's etc. I tend to think most are old farts like me.. (It makes my life easier) LMAO

A HA !
Now I get it !! See, even my head get's lodged _____ a lot of the time. I was still thinking in the showerboy context here... I figured he looked young ! Glad he's into music and playing... I had a blast as a teenager playing an instrument. It had ALOT of value socially, look where it's gotten me today ! In here :(
All this aside...
Where did he get his guitar ? and what brand ? I know instruments are tough to get in your location !

That was his first ever guitar he is still very fond of it. (J&D) It was drastically reduced in price cos no musician in his right mind liked the colour. Evidently all the maple coloured ones sold out in record time. Unsure of the make of his other 2 guitars or his bass. His keyboard is a yamaha and he also has a clarinet

instruments arent hard to get just prohibitive in price he paid $1200 for his latest guitar I think the asking price was $1600 but they are kinda scared of me at that store.
When they asked if he had bought from them before he said yes but under his mom's name. They asked who is mom was, he told the guy and said he paled visibly and said "you're JOKING"
He said then he got offered the discount

fiery @ Sun Dec 31, 2006 3:34 pm wrote: LOL well as you know Luly I joined Plenty of Fish, as a vehicle to meet people. Last night a guy contacts me and we talked for a bit... then he asks if I would be interested in meeting him at the Silver Spur for karaoke. All was cool because it was a public meeting etc, and I have been going stir crazy at home here. He was saying he was lonely because he only saw his kids for Xmas and wanted to go out but doesn't really like going to karaoke alone. He also recognized in his email to me that I am not looking for a boyfriend, just some friends. Well I hauled my butt down there in record time, and we chatted for a bit.. when I went to turn in a song slip I realized I knew the KJ from the other place I used to go to, so that was cool. Well this guy, Ian, whom I barely know... starts asking me questions about when I plan on getting "out of my situation" (aka where I live). I looked at him and explained Brandon to him (my ex bf's autistic son for those who don't know) Then he asks me where I used to work before that and I told him Tim Horton's and Coffee Time... and within a few minutes he "had to go to the bank machine". I said okay, and he never came back. I am still trying to figure out what I did? I've NEVER had a guy do that to me, ever. I don't know if he was hoping for some sparks regardless of the "karaoke buddy" guise or what but all he had to do was say "Hey I gotta go now" and I wouldn't have been angry. I'm assuming he was scared off by the idea of me being committed to Brandon, or didn't like that when I am working I don't make oodles of money....but how in the @#$% can someone who's supposed to be just a friend try and dictate how and where you should live??? The UP side to all of this is that that KJ is very cool and entertaining all on his own (not to mention sexy as hell) so sitting alone didn't prove to be so bad. he even sang Dirty Deeds with me. It wasn't a bad night all in all... but I came home and wrote Mr. Ian an email telling him that the ladies on the site were just gonna love him and blocked him. I feel better now
Hi Lisa, welll.....Mr Ian might have been bald, but you still couldn't see what was on his mind, huh? LOL That really was rude, but hey better he does this on your first meeting so you know right away what you'd be dealing with. Of course, he also could have gotten robbed at the ATM machine, or had to go visit his sick grandmother, or .....
Did ya get the KJ's number??? He sounds like a prospective "fish".

I still don't get it ? Why not ? It's not only rewarding, but wearing black doesn't make my stomach look as large as it does in lighter colored wetsuits with horizontal stripes :biggrinthumb:
(btw, do you like my lip-gloss in the above photo ? It's La Prairie from Switzerland. Goes on like butter. It's to DIE for gf ! ) See my little pucker ?
