Quote: this thread is a perfect example of why I lust after your mind kappy
Remember that thread about my visiting "the real world" though Vicki ? Seems my trip was cut short :( This is the problem, I have so much fun in here escaping thinking and worrying about the real stuff, I end up moving in.

I really didn't know until two years ago that Bobby Darin wasn't the composer of "If I were a Carpenter". I also hadn't a clue who Tim Hardon was.... Speaking of <edit> what were we talking about before I rudely got Off-topic ?

Ah yes, the Picts. They lived in Scotland and were absorbed into the gene pool when the Irish moved in. Their decendants are known as the modern day Scotts. Many surnames can be traced back to the Picts. These surnames usually start with or contain only the word "Pit" or "Pitt", such as Brad.
Ahem, you meant Steven. Oops.

Quote: Come now Kappy, Time to take your medicine, get dressed, get the mail, eat something, and do the projects you left two weeks ago before running away from home ! No more procrastinating ! Either you do this voluntarily, or we're calling "The Team" and they will keep your computer someplace where you can't use it to disrupt things, likely near your belt, shoelaces, sharp objects, mouthwash, etc. NO ! I want to hang here with my friends ! Quote: Yes, we know you do. But it's WHY you do that's of particular concern to those of us that know you, and care about your well-being <pout> I DON'T WANT to go back to that place I was for two weeks... The REAL women aren't this much fun, they roll up their windows and lock their car doors when they see me. Quote: I'm counting to three ! If you are not back by that time... Can I at least say buy to these folks for the next three or-so days ? Quote: make it VERY quick
Later all, have a happy New Year, see you next year ! I need to run !

Not at all surprised. After 1500 years they might not be as dark.

or as small probably. Malnutrition had a lot to do with that.
It is amazing how on the whole people all around the world have got larger..taller and heavier. Jockeys are almost an extinct breed, reliant, traditionally, as they were upon children from families who could barely put food on the table

I've heard speculation that people are taller now because many diets now contain more meat than they used to. Just think, if this is true then, in a few generations we will be able to tell Omnivore humans from vegeterians. Not meant to be funny or slanderous.
