Been celebrating the holidays with family...Lots of 'em !! Soooo glad to be home sweet home again !! Being away from this place about killed me though ! Had to wake up early this am & catch up with things here  Hope all is well with you & everyone here

I know what you mean Chuck..This has been a rough one..Right now Rich and I are singing "If we make it through December"  Holy cow!!!  who could imagine that so much could happen in the last few weeks of the year....You know if you need us we are right here for you....

There are times, when I sit there and look at what my life's become and I think "Why me?"

.... Then I realize that I still have a roof over my head, food in my belly, a couple bucks in my pocket, great friends, someone to love, and the promise of a new beginning.... What more does anyone need?

When your feeling down and beaten and at the bottom of the barrel, Remember those who have lost there legs or arms or those who have lost there lives due to war or even a car wreck.  Think of those who are homeless and those who are starving and have no place to go or no help available.

Then you count what blessings you do have and see that things can always be worse than they are....and most of the time there is someone somewhere who is worse off than yourself.

Be glad you have friends and family who love you and care about you, and know that you are blessed, and know that you have hope & things can and will get better...maybe later than sooner, but better none the less sooner or later.....

Only time can tell....say a prayer, help a friend, even if you do not believe....say a prayer anyway.....Doctors now days have even seen the results of prayer on there patients.   They cannot explain it...they just know it helps...some how it does help....it dont matter how...As long as it works!!! Thats all that matters - Is that it works!! If you do not want to pray then take some action and do something if you possibly can....For those who are not able to help in some personal way then pray that someone else can.....you never know....maybe just maybe someone will be helped because you cared enough about a friend to make a difference in there life by doing something as simple as this....and take my word for it because it did make a difference in my life and now I am better because of it.  

I hope you all have a better year this year than last year!!!!  I hope that each day you have will be wonderful and full of happiness and success in what ever you choose to do.

Chuck, if things don't go well in the new year, you can always come and stay a few days with me. Bring Gigi if you want or come solo. I think what you need is a few days of therapy here by the bay. I guarantee that you will feel better.



As I said before, you have open invitation to come stay with me. I have a spare bedroom so all you need is a ticket. That goes for everyone I know on this board (specially beautiful single women  LOL ). I think everyone can use a few days on the beach and detox.

We hope to get to see you sometime in the future. Gayle had a great visit but she would love it more if she didn't have to work in the daytime. I can show her plenty myself that I remember.

This whole topic leaves me sad...I feel like I haven't been watching out for my one true love like I should.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones; I have not had a rough year. It hasn't been a good year necessarily, but nobody has died and here lately that is how I set my standards. I can deal with being discontent as long as nobody dies.

I love all you guys, especially for looking out for my sweetheart. He needs and deserves so much more than I can offer sometimes.
