I'm getting ready to upload some of my music cds..Do you guys save it as 128 birates?..or more?

Higher the bitrate, the better the sound quality - however resulting in a bigger file as well. I never go below 192 personally, & usually closer to 256 for mp3's.

I'd say 128 is the bare minimum for getting decent high frequencies. 192 and higher is better for sure.

256 or above for me on music.
I do have some sound FX, and other funny stuf that I ripped @ 128 or 192.
Storage is CHEAP these days, DON"T skimp on bitrates to save some space!
