2001 on Ebay there were 4 pages of surplus Maine snow for sale on Ebay. $.99 starting bids.  Some lucky person actually won a corner of a ham sandwich from a 90's World Series ball game too !   I certainly hope this person received a certificate of authenticity along with the corner of that sandwich !  There's VERY little that hasn'
t been up for sale at some point someplace on Ebay.

As you can see from a few sellers that left Phill feedback, Ebay comments and feedback is about as realistic as Singer's Showcase rank and comments.

Seller :   FAST PAYMENMT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A+++++++++++++++++

Phill :  Unreasonable seller, stay away. I don't know why she's angry and only gave
         me 17 plus's after the A this time. Never again ! Last two times I got more
         such as A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++. She's getting a bad a
         bad attitude !

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seller:    Super Fast! Really wonderful customer! Thank You! A+A+A+A+A+

Phill :      What did I do to upset you ?  I was the "best customer ever"
              last time I transacted with you. You didn't try to work with me.
              NEGATIVE !!   Stay away from this seller at all costs !
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seller:    AAA+++ GOOD COMMUNICATION!

Phill:      I thought my communication was far better than just "GOOD". How do you
             survive with such a defensive attitude in this type setting ? NEVER again !

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seller:    Super fast payment. Excellent A++++++++++++++++++++++

Phill:       I appreciate the 22 plus's this time after the A.  Glad you got my Emails !

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seller:  It's almost been 24 hours since this buyer bid on my KARAOKE used slip
           collection.  I still have NOT received the check from this buyer NEGATIVE

Phill:     I never bid on that.  I went into my kitchen to check the stove, and while
           away my dog jumped on my desk accidently landing on the Mouse button
           which somehow registered a bid on your frivolous auction material.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh that is funny!

I have been a registered member of eBay for almost six (6) years - I have done over 20 transactions!!! As you can see I am a very heavy eBayer (?)

All feedback is postitive and extremely accurate. Why would you think it is "Fluff"??!!

That is like saying that some of the members in Singers Showcase are providing other members "fluff" !!! I personally believe that all our submittors are excellent singers and am surprised that more of them are not "Professional" entertainers!!!

DISCLAIMER: Please note my above comments are meant to be sarcastic and not a reflection on the quality of the Singers. Further, I am not suggesting that any singer(s) is/are better than any other(s). Additionally, my comments are not intended to offend any of the participants.
:O  LMAO

At least consider my suggestion about telling this person your dog jumped on your computer desk, inadvertently hitting the bid button on that frivolous auction  LMAO. Actually I enjoy having fun on Ebay too. I suppose I'm just annoyed because I had planned on sniping that item out from under you but forgot to.

It'd be quite a laugh to find a completely foolish Karaoke related auction, get about 40 of us to have a bid-war over an item that normally NO individual would want, and increase by perhaps 5 cent increments (to keep things from getting too costly).  See how many other people jump into the fray thinking it's suddenly some extremely desireable "hot" item.  Of course we'd end up deemed shill bidders, and our accounts would become NARU'd  :(

Are you SERIOUS ? How long have you been involved with Karaoke ?  :shock:

Buck Steele or "Buckie" to many, is the self-proclaimed "King of Karaoke!" Geez, you didn't know that! You obviously are not familiar with the world of Karaoke! Everyone that is someone knows Buckie! Good Lord, will someone please educate this newbie! Ha ha

Second item (actually the first item in the above quote), that sounds like it would be extremely funny. We just keep bidding to a minimum but enough to draw interest! Hmmm... 40 people at 5 cents each would be around $2 I think we could afford that!  LMAO

and the fads we might start !   Who knows !   We might return in a few weeks and see other cracked and unplayable CD-G's from the early 1990's (just like the one we bid on) selling for upwards of $100 each. Shure SM-58 microphones that were badly melted in bar fires and currently NON-WORKING selling for well over $500 (not to be confused with those newer ones that make noise).  We'll be changing the course of history !  :worship:  Enabling others such as Buck to make Bucks !!

Well I went, paid and I am awaiting the arrival of my Used Karaoke Slips!

I may just sell them individually - lets see $4.48 (purchase price + shipping)  divided by 200 = about 2.5 cents each. If I sell them at 5 cents a piece I could double my money or what about 10 cents each Wow! Do you see where I am going with this! I have a GOLD mine!

That Fool (aka Buck Steele, "Buckie", or "The King of Karaoke") doesn't know anything about marketing he really just gave these away! This is Unbelieveable!

Just checked and Yep! BuckSteele.com is available! (Well it was) Just think about the possibilities! I set up this site to resell these "Lucky Slips"  just watch and see world!!!

:oh yeah:  :dancin:

Hopefully, at some point in my life I too will stumble upon such life-changing luck and fortune similar to the event that changed Phill's life almost instantly on Dec-18-06 23:15:40 PST. Who would've ever believed that out've the many millions of auctions Ebay runs at any given time, Phill was the one that not only found, but won BUCK STEELES slips !

Image

Well,  he didn't really find that auction on his own, but he knew enough to bid as opposed to paying the "Buy it Now" price

Quote:
Everyone that is someone knows Buckie!

Dang,  and by not bidding, I missed having such a fortune, for just a song !

(or is it a bunch of songs by misfortune) :drinklaugh:

I must be missing something as well  (no wise-cracks please :shock: ).  In the last few days I've noticed the sale of certain items I didn't know were permissible to sell (on a public venue)  such as State Police badges, and other types of identification  that would make it very easy for a person to impersonate an official. Whether these are current or not,  I have no clue.  So I started wondering.  Can ANYBODY purchase a firearm on Ebay ?  Or is this the type of thing such as my "Jarts" and air-rifles where it's legal to have them *IN* your home,  but just don't get caught with them OUTSIDE of the privacy of your home ?  Maybe this is governed by district law of the buyer and seller ? I wonder how much of a disclaimer the term "Venue Only" is, regarding the sale of certain types of items ? :thinkin: Unless perhaps Ebay is bound by laws of the state of California. Since I've only bought about 40 items on Ebay, and never sold on Ebay,  I don't know about this type thing. I was surprised to see the sale of certain types items however to the general public..
