Planet_bill has been gone for almost a month y'all and I'm worried. Something could have happened to him.
Also he always submits songs in SS and there are no recent ones there??
He also apparently missed out on the whole BD controversy along with ban votes...
Perhaps we can ask Tinkerbell his whereabouts. Tink is sweet and a friend of Planet_Bills....Oh WAIT SHE IS MISSING TOO for almost 4 months!!!

Nope, nothing to chase lately. Although there is a chance of something occurring soon as we have what is called "southwest flow" in the mid levels. That is good for wind shear, upper lift, and dry air aloft which increases atmospheric instability. Combine that with a low pressure system crossing the US in the southern region and add moisture from the Gulf, and you have a good chance for severe weather. This is particularly so since lately we have had so much warm weather - that makes it kind of like Spring with the cold fronts approaching and interacting. We are also in an El Nino phase which should reinforce southwest flow, but not necessarily tornadoes.
You would think that with our current warm weather we would be having severe with the cold front approaching this week, and a mid level shortwave trough crossing our area setting off precipitation, but moisture was limited which killed instability, so for now only rain and colder weather as it should be this time of year.
Last I looked Sharon it should be substantially cooler in our area from Friday through Monday so perhaps it will seem more seasonably like Christmas rather than temps in the 80's. The cool is already affecting us down here in Austin, but the real stuff doesn't hit until nearly Fri - at least according to my last look at the weather models yesterday.

Florida was nice although it was a long drive. I ended up getting a great deal on Black Friday at Office Depot for an Hi Def Plasma tv. I found an off brand 42" for just $799. That is about half of what they go for in that size range, and half of what that particular tv normally sells for. Was concerned I wouldn't have room in the vehicle to get it home, but managed to pull it off. It looks incredibly good. Almost as nice as my 55" Hitachi.
As for singing, I still have comments from SS I haven't replied too. Sorry folks sometimes I am slooowww. Maybe I'll post something again soon. I still have some more Neal Diamond recorded that I haven't posted.

Hey, why does it say my thread was moooved?
Yep, F6's can't exist because of the way they define them and new ratings scale of EF6 reduces airspeeds associated with damage. Good question about the cow though. Not sure.

It was moved to the "OFF TOPIC" Forum.
This thread really wasn't about Karaoke (was it?)

Hi Phil!
"OFF TOPIC"? Hmm....perhaps I missed this development. Last I knew everyone was posting topics about whatever under Open Forums, Karaoke Discussion Forum this included on and off topic stuff. There was a big debate and issue about this though back about August or Sept, and most agreed to try and stay on topic, but there was no hard / fast rule I was aware of. Is this new? Here is another example thread I was mimicking that is still under that forum (lots of these types):
"Keith02, Disappeared almost two months ago. Keith, let us know you are alive and OK"
Regardless, personally I think it is a good idea to have an area for off topic general non-karaoke stuff. Is that how we're doing it now? Where is the Off Topic area? For some reason I don't seem to be able to find it.

Maybe if I get a wild hair during a storm outbreak in your area I'll stop in and take some of you along for the ride. That should really get you worked up. Really? Kewl! We'll all almost be like old buds  . Perhaps I'll stop in again too and get Jeff out this time. Hopefully Chuck will come this time. You folks should grab some good microbrews at the Draught House this time before the show. :beermates: They have such excellent homemade brews http://www.draughthouse.com/
Whoops! I just realized we made this back on topic and about karaoke again now.
