Hey Don--did you hear that Im going to a band rehearsal Tuedsay night? Some blues band people came in and I sang some blues songs for them and they told me to go learn 3 off a disc they gave me and then come to thier rehearsal to see how I would sound with thier band. Its a 3 piece bass, drums, blues harp and I would be their blues singer. So well see how that goes. But isnt that some Crazy-azz sht????

Didnt even have to go through the jam process like Charmin has. Just NUTS!!

i personally do perfer more male singers to the ladies, but not by much, i tend to compare and i feel i can learn more if a guys singing the song...

its always been hard for me to compare female singers to male singers, even with the same song......i can compare male/male....female/female but male/female i find hard to do....there just different,  

but on a whole i would have to say the female singers r better then the male singers...over all...nothing personal guys....

i think woman r more carefree on stage,  they seem to be more relaxed when singing,  could be they drink more tho.... ....hard to say....Steven might know the answer to that.....Billy

I'm kinda equal there. I like to hear everyone sing. It all depends on what style they're singing though... I like to hear mostly older country, and more men sing that style than women. There was a really old guy came into the bar one night and did mostly Johnny Cash songs (and nailed them, perfect voice for those songs) and I found I couldn't wait till he got back up there.
But if you had to take away one or the other..... and only have one gender left to sing. I'd say take away the other girls. Cause then, hell, I'd have all the female songs to MYSELF. haha
No, I guess I'm teasing. I like to hear other girls sing, I like to hear people sing the same songs I like to sing..... cause they sound so different coming from different people, and that's cool to hear.

Boy are you asking a lot of questions of us here... So here goes my answers...( I added the numbers so I could keep uo with the answers correctly - short attention span, I guess)  What am I doing?? Oh yea, the questions...

1.  Yes, everyone sounds better the more you drink..Heck after enough even people that sound like frogs sound great too!!!

2.  I think I prefer men's songs.. I kinda get irritated with the gender benders, but only sometimes...There are women that always sing gender benders and I wish they would sing ladies songs sometimes...

3.  I am a lady (or so I am told) so I can't answer this one......

Seriously, I think some people sing better drunk because they let their guard down. Do they sound better if I'm drunk?  LMAO You'll have to wake me up or scrape me off the dance floor to ask me.

I like an equal mix of females and males singing. Most nights I have mainly male singers. It is so refreshing to hear a girl sing once in a while. I'm always encouraging the girl singers to come back more often.
