Sorry Kelley. I don't mean to stray from your topic here...just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I've been talking too much lately.

And ummmm Mr. Perry, You better keep singing!! Think about your groupies here... Me, Kelley.  I know where Indiana is. I will come and get ya and make you sing duets with me perpetually. Assuming I was at the receiving end of such a baseless accusation, it would end my rapport with the person feeling compelled to spout such immature nonsense.  A person releasing their material should not be divulging a concern such as "You are listening too much, WHY ?".   That's just poor etiquette.  Id be spending my time instead listening to those that do not take their listeners forgranted.  Better yet, those that WANT listeners and appreciate folks listening to their submitted material as opposed to exploiting those taking time to listen however many times they wish to offer a better critique, comments, etc.  You don't need that type negative crud spewed at you. ANYONE anywhere can listen.  The fact that they suspect you of taking part in possible wrongdoing is nasty.  I'd just part ways with them.  They aren't worthy of your time.  When I listen "more than typically" to something, it's because I like it, or I'm attempting to offer something positive.  What an abominable accusation for anyone to make. That's a redflag IMO...  Time to partways.

I did part ways with this person & this thread was/is not to stir the pot so to speak hense no names.. Just wanted my opinion on the matter known...my right...I let them know just dont visit my subs & I wont visit yours...simple. No hard feelings No love lost...Its squashed for me but for newbies & God forbid someone that has as much if not more talent than this person it will be the same thing done to them..Ive seen it since Ive been here...Oh & I def am NOT stalking this person wouldnt even dream of such nayastiness!! But great analogy of really what its all about...the witch hunt syndrome again..But thing is...Im stayin !!! Whose next ??

It's a good thread to post.  No names ever necessary.  All learn from such a thread.


ADDED IN:

This isn't something SS needs to remedy however.  Such an individual should re-evaluate whether or not they really are tough-skinned enough to submit their material either for the world to hear,  or within certain categories.  Listen only might be best.  No comments in the case of such insecurity.  For such a person SS has become a possible source of anguish.  It's THEIR problem,  noone elses.  But insecure people often bring others down with them.

i had no idea the ranking system dropped your ranking for getting a listen without a comment.  that seems kinda silly to me.  i go listen alot, well not alot lately, but enough and alot of times i don't comment just because i don't know what to say or i don't want to parrot what's already been said in previous comments.
