well i have said nothing because since i am new i dont think i really have the right too like i said before
but i have been here for a few days and i can now honestly say ..
with all the questions i have on tech stuff...if someone were to say stuff that was not right ...it would totally confuse me...and i am glad he was not here to give input on my questions...
i had my questions answered quickly and to the point and in terms i understood!!!
glad i didnt have to sort thru a lot of BS from BD or anyone else.......
now that is not to say i think he should be banned....but i think that anyone new should be warned and know that he does not always know what he is talking about...( iwould not know if he did or not...and that would have been a bad thing  )
that is my opinion i am truly glad i got to talk to the people i talked to...they were awesome and great help!!

When I cast my vote to ban him I was really mad but I thought I was not going too far.
Now it seems that maybe I was but I can't fix it now.

Casting a ban vote is just objecting to the way someone is behaving. It does not ban them. Like I said earlier it sends a message to the person that their behavior is questionable and should take care in what they say. It takes 50 bans just to be considered for banning completely. He is not banned as of yet. He has chosen to be silent.

It was probably me who originally asked people to hit the ban button on BD. I was just really tired of everyone sitting around and complaining about him. I was tired of every thread being hijacking and being about him. It has been nice around here to have some topics that are not BD realated.
And I have said it beofre and I will say it again....I have taken up for Bigdog on many occasions...But I truly beleive that he went over the perverbial line lately. I would like to see him come back but I would also like for him to keep his talk to threads that are related to what he has to say....
Oh, and I was truly offended by him telling me I was a "hack" singer cause I dance when I go sing...I wa stired of him referring to people who went to other Karaoke shows like Babs as "all being drunks" and how he doesn't have drunks at his shows...Deeply offended when he made c omment about some jerk wnating to sing at Karaoke...Showed me that not only does he not have any respect for any other Karaoke host anywhere, but he has no respect for the singers at his own show....
Don't know if the ban request was right or if it was wrong....But I did it and it can't be changed at this point...and part of the point is that he hasn't been banned but I think a strong message has been sent to him that we are all tired of all the crap he was doing...
And that's all I have to say ..

Forum like this need a few controversial character, and BD fit in that character. Just look at some of the threads he started; 3, 4 pages long.
Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions. It is good that there are people who come forward to say that they voted to ban him. This will show him where he stand among people in this forum; a kind of check points for him.

Controversial is ok - indifference is what people make decisions on, slamming other members (calling them unprofessional & hacks) & going down to name calling (cheap basturd) & providing completely wrong tech info is completely another thing - that is not going to help anybody in any manner.
