Hi Guys. Have recently purchased a jb99 without any leads. Any suggestions on how to use this player with a laptop? The connection on the rear of th eunit is a 25pin female serial port. Most grateful for suggestions.

Use the 25 pin parellel port FX cable to connect from PC LPT1 port to JB99's parellel cable port.

Did you read my reply - all the info you need is there and I posted the link to the manual that explains how to do it. All you have to do is click on the link in my post. Than scroll down that page to where it says PDF manual. Once you open the manual scroll down to the topic of connecting to pc.

The Cavs website bites the big one.

Not nearly as badly as their song versions do tho.....

I think I am one of the few still running an original system...

Thanks for your help. Only one more problem; i dont have a serial port on my laptop. So what do you think i could try?

Go to radio shack- they sell a serial to usb adapter.

I don't use their songs. I put my own library on mine. It is the only way to go!
