heyal,

i've been trying to fill one of my parents dreams of having her kids sing on a n album and i'm not a tech in music.

what i need is something simple that i can record voice [singing] at the same time the song is playing.

i've tried a few programs one i liked was microsing but i couldnt get it to sync right :( .

when i'd try the larger programs it was looking to complicated to learn for me.

so can anyone suggest and easy to use program?  its not for resell but if it works i'll upload it for opinions .... i can sing but am one who gets stage fright lol.

thank you in advance for any help yal can offer i really do appreciate any help i can get.

have you thought of using a simple digital (stand alone) 4 track recorder? theres a lot of cheaper ones around now that will do the job just great

I actually have a 10 track fostex with built in hard drive
I record at events, can mix and match afterwards (if theyre not too hot at singing:-))
or to make a client sound better

I then make the cd and send out as a curtosy to whoever booked the event:-))

VERY SIMPLE TO DO.

1. PLAY YOUR CDG'S WITH WINAMP WITH THE CDG PLUGIN IN, YOUR MUSIC WILL PLAY WITH THE LYRICS APPEARING ON YOUR COMPUTER MONITOR.
2. RECORD YOURSELF WITH THE SUPER MP3 RECORDER PROFESIONAL.
3. POST PROCESS YOUR RECORDING WITH COOL EDIT PRO 2 OR ADOBE AUDITION.
