Mine has been inactive for a couple of years, just now rebuilding it...Im waiting on some pics we took at the halloween party.. I plan to have a list of the karaoke and DJ libraries. Cabaret Karaoke.. Ive had this site for 4 or  5 years but when first started it wasnt generating any business at all.. The sites are now generating more and more business because all the kids with karaoke homs systems are on the net...

Ive been more or less retired for a few years but still like to do parties.

I have a free web site right here.   Everyone in the world knows I'm here, they can personally talk to the BIGDOG.     Can't do that on any old web site.

They laughed at all of the greatest minds throughout history.   I feel very honored to be among the greatest.

I am truly sorry for all of the hacks I have offended here. :worship:

Not.    :O

Upgrade and we wouldn't be having this converstation, would we?????

Come up to my level, if you can afford it. LMAO  LMAO  LMAO

You'll like the view from the top. LMAO     I do... :worship:

Wow Twan!! That site is some SLICK SHT!!!!  Thats the kind of thing Im looking to do with my photo site. So all u had to do was use templates that they provided huh??? NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE ADVERTTISING tool.  One thing I would see about changing tho is the way the song lists are shown--cant really follow them along as they appear--is that maybe due to the PDF format.

As to MR.BD's REDICULOUS COMMENTS about this being "HIS" website--

it merely reinforces his IRRELEVANCE!!

CLearly hes NOT TECHICALLY CAPABLE OR COMPETENT to create, maintain and update a website.

Pretty POOR marketing approach in this day and age when MORE AND MORE BUSINESS is done over the internet.

Website is a KEY business contact and advertising tool.

But again it simply reflects his INCOMPETENCE in the marketing of his business.

Clearly hes neither MARKET OR INTERNET SAVVY enough to produce an advertising website on his own.

WORLD JUST PASSIN HIM BY...........................

Kinda sad really......................

He has MY PITY!!

A website is always, always the way to go. It is a sign of legitimacy for both current and prospective clients. Clients include bartenders, event planners AND bar patrons who sing, people at wedding receptions...ANYONE.

While this is the place to meet a bunch of like-minded people, a search for local karaoke is not going to pull up this forum.

FOr really, really basic website (which can be attractive, one can use MS Publisher or Word. Heck I think PowerPoint may allow you to create html; I need to look.

If you can't publish your song list for lack of resources or knowledge, get you phone number and a description of your services posted!

As with Access/Excel, I am not a functional expert on these apps but if I can help anyone, I will. I usually use Front Page because I am too lazy to learn Dreamweaver or anything else, and I just do not have the patience to do all my coding in straight html. Chuck is my technical guy--I like the pretty stuff.

I use an image such as gif or jpg instead of text for phone numbers or email addresses. This cuts down on the junk that I get.

Mark, may I call you Mark...we need to give this little puppy a name?  Anyway, a website is just a tool, what they do with it after that is all in the hosting.  If the website got them in & he blew it, then his bad, if you are as good as you say, then a website would keep your venues flooded...no more of the slow start nights.  And since you are ALL about making the bar money, even a free website could do just that, that way people could find your shows.

Personally I like the view from the bottom, especially when the gals in short skirts are walking up the stairs. ;)

Bob, Mary, Ralph, Fred...Whatever.    I don't need a web site.   If I did, the good Lord would have made my hands to type.   I can not "2 finger" a quality web site.     I have no useful information for the web site.    No list of filler/dance music to post.   No pictures to post.   I'm not that photogenic.     Nobody has any fun at my karaoke so there will be no exciting crowd pictures.

Instead he blessed me with being the worlds most Popular KJ.    No site needed.    I can't work anymore than I do now.     My jobs are busy enough now.     The rotation is too long and everyone doesn't want to wait   1 1/2 to sing.    I like a more intimate crowd.    You know without the screaming drunks.   No RAP & HIP HOP, no swear words and cop killing.     No words about mom's boyfriend.   I have no jobs as you already know, so just what could I possibly put on a useless site?    Pictures of my non existant equipment.    Pictures of my non existant $600 microphones.    How boring.....

Well you can all be the judge by what he has always claimed here.  Simple Google search on pittsburgh karaoke $600 microphone turned this up.

Hmmm, that Mark guy was talking about HIS $600 mics and his 9,000 songs.... being in the business for over 13 years... in Pennsylvania!

Looks like a match.  Must be a year outdated though, it only says 13 years, & we all know it's 14 years.

wow! interesting detective work there ttowntenor.  i guess since bd talks about $600 microphones enough, it was just a matter of time (and a little bit of clever searching) before someone took all the pieces and put them together. i am amazed that just putting in pittsburgh karaoke and $600 microphones would be enough to zero in on it. (and bd was worried about what i might reveal  LOL . if he gave out any more info online we all could go out and apply for car loans  LMAO ) bye pghpat.

Well after checking the link to the KJ site, this certainly looks like someone that I would hire if I was looking for good karaoke.    Doesn't list the equipment so they could be a shoe box speaker hack.     Or worse..........

There is still a problem with having a web site.      Everyone that has one doesn't keep it up to date.      The local bigtime newspaper can't even keep the daily front page changed daily.   Now you would think that they have someone whose only job would be to keep the web site current.     I work steady 5 nights a week and between that and posting all of my quality information on how to run good karaoke on here all night, I wouldn't have time to keep a web site current either.    LMAO  LMAO

Well maybe we ought to give MARK a call!!

And see if he sounds as SHRILL live on the phone as BD does in his posts.. The website has all the attributes---Nonsensical BOASTING about beint the best.............600$ mic, 13 years(probly 14 if you take into account he hasnt updated it in a year). But this sounds like a pretty accurate match.

Maybe we send him some mail.

Anyone out there in Pittsburg that could go out and knock on his door----maybe put a PI on him and follow him to the gig and tell us what bar and its address and phone number!!

MAYBE WEBGURU COULD VERIFY THIS ALL FOR US. Since each of us has to SIGN UP and provide information to get on KS to begin with. !!!
