Oooh, Babs, I wanna hear Heartbreaker! I do that one but my most comfortable range is a bit lower so it sure ain't a warm-up song for me.  :worship:

Same to you Susie, I wanna hear It's Too Late! I do that song, too (aren't you surprised?  LMAO ) and it is a good warm-up song.

Steve, Red and Rio Grande is wonderful.  :cowboy:  I have never heard it until we visited your show. Brought a tear to my eye and I wasn't even drunk!

Dreams by Stevie Nicks is a good one for me to begin the evening. Used to be Over the Rainbow. :biggrinthumb:

LOL - I'm not surprised at all!!

I have the RCA version at the Store Club so I'll sing it when you're here for the get-together.... I'll have to preface it by saying it has nothing to do with my real life as that is also when we celebrate our anniversary!!

Susie :)

I'll sub it sometime for all of you. I have a funny range. I can't sing very low, but my voice sounds deeper than it is. Heartbreaker is in a great range for me. a lot of Shania Twain songs are way to low for me, but her songs seem easy to sing. People always seem so surprised I can't sing that low.

First thing I heard when I woke up this morning is "Bab's has to sing Heartbreaker." So I am voting yes on that too.

Babs is modest...she can sing almost anything.......awesomely to say the least....last time I checked, she still doesn't do the audacity, or any computer mixing....she is a live performer......very alive at that....got great moves too.........

Johnny, I'm just waiting on one more piece of gear to start recording and subbing.  I'll let everyone know when I've got some up.

I know this really wasnt ask of me but...I dont use the pc programs like adobe & all for mxing or multitracking which I never have learned, LOL , It got too complicated putting in my own fx using them I dunno just seems like alot of extra work to do when if you have the equipment alraedy just hook it up to the pc & push record on Audacity & your off !! I wish I could multi track on some song that I sing over & over trying to get one note right LOL But for the most part I like doing it the way I am . & Who knows maybe just maybe Santa will be good to me this year & get me a Roland CD-2 CF/CD Recorder for Christmas although Im not holding my breath !! LOL !! I have MTU Hoster on my laptop & their next version is suppose to have it where you can record too so Im waiting anxiously for that too ) Anyways that was my  :2cents:

Once you understand the basic of software based recording using a pc, you will see why its better. Yes, the first step is difficult, but after that, its a matter of playing with the program features; the same way you mix on a hardware board.

Bigdog must be too scared he is going to lose his gig to risk making any changes, even good ones, like finding out what his audience wants.

That is definitely a fun song!!  We don't have that one in our system but if you want to sing it, let me know and it'll be there!!

One of Richard's fun songs is "Here's Your Sign".

I also fall back on "Baby Love" - although I don't sing it as it was sung originally.

Susie :)

My karaoke audience wants all karaoke music.   :O

That's what I do. :O

That's what I get paid for.

I have a 14 year old professional Karaoke business. :worship:

I work steady 5 nights a week.      And when would I have time to operate a web site to advertise for jobs I can't take and don't need or want?    You may need a web site, I don't.

It's not a DJ-o-k-e business.

It's not a let's play filler music, because I can't play nonstop, continuos karaoke music business. :O

It's not a lets' play dance music, because I can't entertain the entire crowd business.

I walk the walk and talk the talk.    :O   More than most can say.

no you just talk the talk. Without proof, you aren't walkin' sh&t!

You've been asked and asked for proof.

EVERY one of your statements you could back up with a website, or disclosing who and what you are, little cur.

And the DJOkie bit? That's your name. DJs were around a LOT longer than karaoke, so stop acting like you invented something.

The only thing you've invented is how to instruct others on how to do karaoke without proving how you really do it!
