   I've cut back on the online activity somewhat.  I look at it this way-

   When online life becomes too much fun, socially very easy, and more "real" than what should be real life, HOWEVER, real life becomes tougher, uglier, a place I love to run from, and I start becoming more withdrawn in real, and walk around angry all the time, shutting myself off from those around me, even dreading running into people I know (and not having much to say to them when I do) ..  There's a huge balance problem .
    I was talking to a few friends months back regarding Internet obsessional behaviour, and how easy it is to displace the unpleasantries of our real-life socially (as well as using online to procrastinate in general from things we can and really know we should be doing), and then I took a look at myself..  Figured I need to take heed to my own words, quit preaching, and introspect a bit..
     Besides the fact that I've managed to rack up a rediculous sum of posts in rooms such as this, that's also a problem because I don't spam, I put thought behind the posts, and realize that I'm spending WAY WAY too much time running from music, friends, family, my own mental and physical health, etc, and putting that energy into internet chat areas instead..  I had to modify my compulsive online escape-   Sort've like when I smoked, drank, womenized, etc.   I was using online life to run from what I can and should be doing, things that aren't quite so much fun, and gratifying...  Just another "crutch" or means of escaping "reality"..
       I'm around,  give me a call when you get a chance.  Glad this season treated all you folks down in the Gulf area kinder than the last two seasons btw !!

       I needed to Grab the Bull by the Tail, face my life,  and doing that meant cutting back on the compulsive pattern that I easily fall into  -running away-
       I still prefer the Internet MUCH MORE than real life too, in fact, real life SUCKS, but there's no running from it..  LOL



    I figured that out, and was just kidding around.  I read the post a few weeks back where Johnny visited your area.  I think it was the "Triple threat" post (or something like that).  I had a feeling "Stinky Steve" was somebody in the bar he saw you at (along with your BIG BF)
