Just a note, to say my husband COULD NOT read it... well, he eventually got a bit of it, and then he gave up out of frustration. HE is a SMART guy, but language wise, he is terrible. I agree, about people reading the whole word at a time, but my husband DOESN'T, he actually has to spell it out, so reading is slow for him. I read paragraphs at a time, but then, I read a novel every day, and read very quickly, and absorb things easily. I couldn't read THAT as fast as I can read normal wording, but I could read it faster than a lot of people can read normally.
AND, i AGREE about kids spelling being absolutely TERRIBLE lately (regarding spelling).... My generation was just STARTING to use computers in school by the time we graduated (I have had a computer since I was 7 though), but I look at younger kids now, and am shocked at their reading and comprehension skills, and how much they differ from even MY young generation.... heck, even this FORUM has a spellcheck. Computer use has REALLY affected how we write... When you sit down with a pen and paper, you can't hit "spellcheck" before you mail your letter:) (My husband uses spell check for EVERYTHING... mind you, he also calls ME his spell check:) "Gillyyyyy.... how do you spell GHOST?" (that is what I heard last night... And because my DAUGHTER was asking HIM how to spell it so SHE could write it down....

Oops, I was babbling. G'bye.
