Ive now got 3 songs that say I have one more comment than I can see, I wrote Phil & asked why, he says its because of people not logging in right. I dont know how this happens but maybe everyone could be extra careful when logging in to be sure this doesnt happen to them. If I knew who commented Id thank them, if youve commented on one of my songs recently please make sure your comment shows up on the page & if not let me know or admin know who you are so they can try to fix it. Its just aggrevating not knowing who to thank.

I've also seen it happen when someone starts to comment on your song.. gets interrupted.. leaves for awhile.. comes back and just picks up typing where they left off... their time on your page has timed out but they don't realize this.. so when they hit submit or post or whtever it says on the comment thing...  it puts the comment up but the system has "forgotten" who the person was that had started typing it.

there is a fair bit of it happening I have one sitting there also

I tried to leave you a nice comment on nothing but a good time yesterday. It might have been me cause I don't see it now.

I had that happen on 'My Sweet Lady'. Drove me crazy for awhile. I thought I was missing something.

Perhaps it occurs when someone changes a rating on their comment?

I don't think 'My Sweet Lady' got rated that well, but it was pretty cool because apparently it really touched a lady who had just lost her long term husband and that was their song. She wrote knew lyrics to go with the song, and had me record those for her as well and send them to her... - which I did. Hopefully she is doing well.
