No jokin about that...I have a cousin in Kadiak...He is the Chief of Police there...Stop laughing, I'm serious...I also have a friend Edna who is somewhere else in AK...I just forget where...Point being I have places to stay all I have to do is get there....

So no one has any thought about a national karaoke convention eh? Guess if I was really motivated I'd start a thread. But I'm not gonna host it. At least I don't think I would. Still such a phenomenon could be a pretty entertaining experience IMO.

I like the idea a lot.

Karaoke Scene has a big one in California every year...I think they just had this years in Sept or October..I forget..There was a thread...It would be very fun to go to that..But it's in California which IMO is not a very central location for the whole US....

Yep, you'd want to go central - like Colorado. Maybe get in some gambling in the small casino towns, or perhaps some skiing. In the summer more stuff to do. But thanks for the info I was unaware of the Calif get together. Is that supposed to be a national get together or just one that they host?
